It is okay for games to evolve. Mario moved from 2D to 3D. Elder Scrolls moved from a ridiculously large, randomly generated world (Daggerfall) to much smaller, but methodically designed worlds. Fallout switched from a top-down perspective to First/Third person. Diablo now allows for direct control of characters. In Madden, you can no longer throw a pass through a player's back and have them still catch the ball. Call of Duty used to be a World War II series. Metal Gear Solid used to have fixed cameras. Resident Evil is still Resident Evil.

Maybe we need the uncharted series to evolve into a on rails VR only shooter in space, "perspective"
It has been for a long time. Experimenting with it now is not much risk as the franchise can only move up from where it is now. Let's just actually play the game before spouting such judgmental nonsense?
