Not gonna play this game before they stop selling cosmetics in shop that looks better than drops in-game. Stupid company

Could be worse. Path of Exile has no cosmetic drops in-game but will happily sell them to you for $30 each.

PoE is also free and has actual good updates every 3 months and listen the community. Combined with the fact that PoE actually is for adults instead of the cookie cutter shit you get in D4, build diversity? no ofc not, on the item it literally says for which single skill the item works for and for nothing else so you're pigeonholed into a couple very specific items if you wanna play a certain build which kills all personal builds and everyone is just running with the exact same items, compare that to PoE where there's endless viable builds.

That's never going to happen. What really needs to happen and will also never will is the prices for these cosmetics are outrageous just for a dinky little model and needs to come down massively. It's so dumb that they're willing to price the cosmetics so high that basically only a small portion of their player base will ever buy anything when they instead could have nearly their entire player base buying more cosmetics for a more reasonable price.

Whats the point playing these games if its not to chase Getting good looking gear ? That also gives you the feeling of getting stronger and better.
I can buy all these cosmetics.. but whats the fun ln looking like a complete finished character from the start. It so stupid.

Remember how it was to play wow before. Half the fun was to complete challenges and getting the sweet stuff or build it.
Or opening chests in zelda to Get that special gear.

The companys making ARPGs these days Are so greedy and only seek to make mechanics that makes the user splash money on the game like u do in gambling.

Its funny. Watching streams of these games.. oh! That guy has spent atleast 3-400$ on the game with that look! Hes so awesome! Finds new end game gear and You Cant Even see the results in the character… everyone looks like a copy of eachother. Unless you splash money on the game to look unique all the time.

Miss the times before online stores. Loot boxes. Cosmetics shops etc is cancer.

Wytchwood Review 2026 | The Cosy Game That Actually Has Teeth | Spawning Point

Play a swamp witch crafting potions and solving problems with darkly comic consequences. Wytchwood's storybook art style masks a game with genuine edge. The crafting system ties directly to narrative progression rather than existing as a separate loop. Cosy but not soft. The fairy tale tradition it draws from has always had teeth.
