With the major press briefings over, GI.biz considers who put on the best show.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

All available May 5.
I think the only game here for me is Nine Sols. Was always interested in that game.
Good month for me, I wanted that particular footy game and thought it might be due. Anyway who cares, shame about the site I'll miss the comment sections. All the best everyone.
"Speaking from purely personal experience, from the reaction of friends both within the industry and without, there's real anger surrounding the decision to launch more powerful consoles so quickly. This, they say, is not what we signed up for at all: we want reliability and convenience and everything else the console ecosystem has previously horse traded for a less impressive bottom line on performance. I've seen people suggesting that this was a vast collusion, a ploy which Microsoft and Sony hatched together even before this generation so that they could clean out the pockets of their customer bases more efficiently."
Damn.
Sony, hands down
I feel like sony has been killing it the last few years
Definitely Xbox. No contest.
This years E3 was very mediocre there were very few surprises or jaw dropping moments. Maybe a lot of that has to do with spoilers but even then what was shown didn't get me real excited like past E3 has.
But in terms of presentations (out of the big three) I would say Sony had the better conference. Their conference never dragged even with the VR segments that I'm not interested in I was still able to watch. Their conference flowed very nicely and even with games that I weren't impressed with I was able to still watch and be entertained.
MS conference had to many dull moments, it started great but once it hit Minecraft it was a complete stop. That whole presentation was insulting, it felt too scripted, it felt like a bunch of marketing students got on stage and were pretending to have fun with Minecraft as they simultaneously drilled in the "play anywhere" theme. This was equally painful when the Sea of Thieves was being shown off. The Play anywhere anytime motto which is a great idea was hammered way too much with each and every game MS showed off, we get it! And then Gwent...smh...you devote stage time to announce Gwent? They ended it on a high note but imo, the scorpio is a year away and nothing was shown of it so who cares.
Nintendo...Zelda was gorgeous and...well....Zelda was gorgeous....
All in all I feel E3 is becoming irrelevant, we get all the information beforehand and most of the people watch it online. Not to mention the games shown from the previous year are the same ones shown the following. And with development taking longer due to being bigger games and being HD, fewer newer titles are being announced with every E3. In my opinion E3 needs to be a bi or tri yearly event, this way these companies can not only announce new games but show off gameplay as well as announce new titles.
