Stevivor -- While still not a traditional Resident Evil game, Resident Evil 7‘s demo is more layered than we originally thought. Here are all the endings we've uncovered so far.

If you watched the most recent Nintendo Direct, you likely saw the news that Capcom is bringing not one, but three Resident Evil games to Nintendo Switch 2 early next year. The system will be getting Resident Evil 7, Village, and Requiem at the same time.
I have the RE7 PS5 version, but I didn't have the chance to get Village. So, I might get both RE8 & RE9 on Switch 2 on launch day next year. And I think RE9 on Switch 2 is $10 cheaper.
Money. M.O.N.E.Y. That's why. And, RE games have traditionally done well on Nintendo platforms.
They could package re7&village in one pack …. Greed move but hey what do I know . I’m hyped for requiem
They know Nintendo fans would just lap it up and they will buy it at a high price.
Never gets the hype of playing something like this on the go and on a handheld though, I feel like these games needed to be experience on home consoles with as little compromise in fidelity and controls as possible.
Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Biohazard, Resident Evil Village, and Resident Evil Requiem will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2.
nice that Requiem is launching day and date with the other platforms. Glad to see that the S2 is capable of running the RE Engine.
I would expect we should see ports of 2, 3 and 4 at some point after 7, 8 and 9 release.
Conflicting feeling about it.. if the PS5 & XSX will have "superior" versions, does the switch version come a little cheaper or the same pricing? I want a Switch 2, for Smash specifically but paying high/same prices for an inferior version of a game baffles me.
Guys, IGN release a better quality of this trailer running on Switch 2. Is really captured on Switch 2? It's miles better than the Direct trailer.

Players have long debated the merits of third-person as opposed to first-person perspective in games and the topic has recently resurfaced on Reddit, this time concerning the long running Resident Evil series. The discussion so far has generated somewhat heated opinions from users on both sides of the argument.
Resident Evil has a long history of using both perspectives, with some entries in the series like Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 offering players a third-person view, while others like Resident Evil 7 provided players with a first-person perspective. Some fans believe third-person allows for better visibility and control over the character, while others believe that first-person immerses you more deeply into the game's atmosphere.
Third always
It's what it's always been and how it's meant to be played whether it's fixed camera angles or over the shoulder.
They should have the option to have both going forward imo. But I do prefer third person view
I love both and the new mainline RE games should stay in first person for at lest one more game that’s why i hated that Capcom for some reason added third person in RE8 .. like why ? What was the point ? It just lost what made the new games unique and different. Re7 is a gem and already such a classic, it’s RE1 of this generation or well the prevous generation i guess i should say and RE8 is bonkers and so fun. Such great games.
I am extremely impressed with this demo so far, initially had some P.T. feels coming from the trailer. I am glad to see a different direction taken for this one, at least so far. I was genuinely creeped out by this which isn't something that has happened to me in any recent resident evil game. Can't wait to get my hands on the retail release.
Watched PewDiePie play, and it definitely looks great. It's not P.T., though it has some similarities, but it makes me wonder how much of this will have to do with the full game.
the dummy finger almost looks like a lockpick itself in a way... when you examine it look at the metal end sticking out of it... part of it looks cut or shaped kind of how a key is. I dunno.. I also swear I saw a trapdoor in the kitchen floor during the "video" scene where it shows the guys trying to cut their hands lose from the bindings, when the woman comes from behind and kills him.
I dunno I just finished playing it really briefly so I could show a friend. Gonna investigate more later tonight.
So.....does this game have any ties at all to previous RE games? Anything to warrant being called Resident Evil 7?
Seems to me like this is a complete departure from the series. Ghosts? Where are the zombies and Umbrella? I haven't played it yet but i have yet to see anything that would lead this to be a chapter in the RE series.
I'm totally fine with the new direction and everything, but if you are rebooting the franchise and making it something totally different, then don't call it Resident Evil 7. Call it pretty much ANYTHING ELSE. Even plain old Resident Evil would be fine. But putting that 7 in the title implies it is part of the overall, existing RE series and story, bit this clearly does not look to be the case.
I'm going to make sure the house is empty when I play this. Not because I'm trying to be macho or anything. But that playing this with VR, I'm going to get on the fam nerves. I'm going to scream my head off.
