Valenwood and Elsweyr please

With Summerset Isle as the expansion DLC

They are so close to each other

nX3651d ago

I'm open to anything they come up with. Just hoping that it will have native VR support.

Movefasta19933651d ago

most likely, since f4 is getting it

Darkwatchman3650d ago

You'll complain when elder scrolls 6 isn't the same as 5

-Foxtrot3650d ago

You tried to do a funny but hilariously failed for not making sense

*slow clap*

Oh good that's still working

ZaWarudo3650d ago

@Darkwatchman Oops, i meant to upvote you. Mybad.

ZaWarudo3651d ago

I'm up for Hammerfell/ Highrock, Valenwood or Summerset Isle.

Horseygamer3651d ago

it should be a add on to ps4 skyrim me thinks

Kratos19813651d ago

What a stupid thing to say!

NotanotherReboot3651d ago

Please make the quests and factions interesting like in Oblivion. they were so bland and forgettable in Skyrim

vickers5003651d ago

Forgettable? I remember all of them!

Go into dungeon, kill dragon lord wizard, loot, rinse repeat.

at least ship combat should be easier in creation engine than space combat, right? Right?

VenomUK476d ago

I loved Assassin’s Creed IV. If that exploratory sense of island-hopping adventure can be brought to the Elder Scrolls then this could be brilliant for me as it would combine pirates with open worlds fantasy. I just hope that Bethesda has learnt lessons from all the other great RPGs released since Skyrim to upgrade the gameplay and hopefully the graphics too. The Elder Scrolls VI is long overdue and I’m ready to return to Tamriel!

thorstein476d ago

But there's dragons in Skyrim so you'd better not make your boat out of wood.

deadvoice476d ago

How do you find the time to play games with as much as you comment?

LordoftheCritics477d ago

Are we going to load into the sea?

GenoPurpel476d ago

No no that would be silly.. first you will load into the ship docks area.. then you will enter and load into your ship’s quarters. Then you will exit the quarters to load into the deck of the ship, and once you depart the docks, then you will load into the sea.. now that’s much much better

OtterX476d ago

@LordoftheCritics Get...(loading)..... (loading)..... Hyped!!!

TheColbertinator476d ago

Out of all the rumors I hear this one is the most fun. Any region in Cyrodiil is ripe for opportunity, even the areas we traversed already like Morrowind.

Wait until IGN gives it a 6/10 for too much water

pwnmaster3000476d ago (Edited 476d ago )

As long time fan of Bethesda I hope they get it right.
Nothing beats a well put together Bethesda game.
I would spend hours just roaming the land.
Unfortunately the last one for me was fallout 4.
Starfield didn’t do it for me. I thought obsidians avowed will do it but that was a bust.
Maybe I’m just tired of the formula.

isarai476d ago

SERIOUSLY! i really want them to lock in and deliver something amazing. Because as much as i hate the repackaging of skyrim, there really isn't much that comes close to the ES games.

porkChop476d ago

Starfield does have a lot of quirks and rough edges, but it still scratched that Bethesda itch for me. I haven't played Avowed but I figured it would be a TES-ish spin on what they did with Outer Worlds.

The Elder Scrolls 6 Shouldn’t Ignore a Huge Chunk of the Map Like Skyrim Did

Skyrim might be a modern day classic with a famously huge open world, but it still neglected to put any content on one huge part of its map.

Get rid of the stupid sprint button and bring back athletics and acrobatics

mkis007705d ago

I hate the perk system. I feel so weak at the start.

Daeloki705d ago

That's the point of 99,99999% of rpgs

mkis007705d ago (Edited 705d ago )

But then Why play once I'm perked up? I want some horizontal progression. I feel like im playing just to get stronger. Once I'm as strong as possible what is there left?

Ratchet and Clank weapons are a perfect example of the best kind of progression.

FPS_D3TH704d ago

Why play when you’re perked up? Brother there is no limit to leveling and perking in Skyrim. You’re not even really making much sense if you’re arguing about RPGs to be honest.

Daeloki704d ago

"But then Why play once I'm perked up?"

Wait I thought your problem with perks was feeling weak at the start? But to answer your question, using Skyrim as an example, by the time I've leveled up to the point of feeling powerful, I still have tons of quests and sidequests to deal with, and enemies tend to scale with your level, so it's not a matter of being overpowered either. Honestly it just sounds like you're complaining for the sake of complaining.

jznrpg705d ago

So you want the 8-10 second sprint button so you get tired but you can kill god sand dragons. I can run for 20 minutes easily and I’m old. It makes no sense. You always start out weak in RPGs.

OtterX704d ago

Nah, that had me swimming laps in lakes and ponds trying to level up. Like A LOT. I never want to have to do that again.

Inverno704d ago

I know it's a dumb reason but i really can't play Skyrim because of the lack of speed and acrobat. The sprint button and jumping restrictions killed it for me.

Rebel_Scum705d ago

Yeah nah stuff extra ocean content.

Michiel1989705d ago

yeah no, in 99% of cases underwater combat is just bad/worse than regular combat, I'm good without it.

anast705d ago

I hate underwater combat.

Michiel1989705d ago

even in mario bros 3 it was awful

anast704d ago

Mario Bros water levels are what immediately think about when talking about underwater combat.

anast705d ago

It will be developed by AI so there will be stuff all over the map. I'm not sure it will be fun, but there will be stuff.

TheCaptainKuchiki705d ago

Skyrim gotta be one of the most overrated games ever

Michiel1989704d ago

nah it was really good and that after 13 years people still play and create mods for it is a testament to that.
