E3 2016: New ‘Fallout 4’ DLC Announced

Hardcore Gamer: Bethesda has been meeting our expectations time and time again and now, a whole year after the release of Fallout 4, new DLC is still being released. Bethesda’s press conference at E3 has announced new DLC that will be adding elevators and other contraptions to help build your settlements, (if you haven’t already figured it out, the DLC is called Contraptions). Alongside that, the new DLC, Vault Creator, will allow you to build your very own vault both inside and out. This will allow access to a new safe area for your settlers as well as a new array of options for customization.

HOLY SHIT...BUILD YOUR OWN VAULT

I didn't think we'd get that untill the next game...nice

mkis0073639d ago

all of that dlc seems great...contraptions!

Just an FYI, there's already on a mod on PC/Consoles that lets you build your own Vault. Obviously it's not as in-depth as what Bethesda is making, but if you can't hold off until next month, it's a solid alternative.

There is already a mod to build your own vaults in certain settlements but will probably expand with updates. Now that I mention there are a lot of mods that do things that should of been in the game in the first place.

Yo dawg, we heard you like playing Fallout Shelter, so we put Fallout Shelter into our Fallout 4.. uhh... Shelter.

Not fun with all that confusing stuff to do, it's all about the game, not all that other silly stuff

NegativeCreepWA3638d ago

I'll be holding off to play it all in vr.

With this and the added HTC vive support coming in 2017, I might have to wait another year to finally finish this game, It'll be tough, but I might do it.

as long as the dlc provide some story content....

Nuka-World is being released in August and that is supposedly the last DLC.

They need to look at Morrowind and see what the progression should have been from there instead of the regression we got with the next 2 games. They weren’t horrible games but they could have been so much more.

Fallout 4 just felt too streamlined and accessible to me, the perk system was not as fun as it was in Fallout 3, not saying Fallout 3 didn't have issues but 4 just felt like a complete step back.

mastershredder201d ago

So the part where you just sold the same games for the last 10 years while you focused on 76 and merch, was not a reset from the "creative" aspect eh? How very Todd of you.

lukasmain201d ago

I bought Fallout 4 (I loved Fallout 3) at launch and I couldn't bring myself to finish it or even get close to finishing it. It was soooo damned boring and bland. I played on a very hard difficulty and I had hundreds of stimpaks. One of the only games I've played for a while and not ended up finishing it. I hated it. Just flat out hated it.
