Gamespot predicts Neo at E3 within the first minute. IS this video old? Sony said it isnt going to be in E3

Geobros3622d ago

The video is new but I suppose it was recorder few days before being published.

freshslicepizza3622d ago

perhaps sony will pull a david jaffe and actually show it.

masterfox3622d ago

they just need only to show up to win lol, seriously what the others have ?

DigitalRaptor3622d ago (Edited 3622d ago )

Microsoft has loads of great content for this year's E3 actually.

Sony seems to have bigger, better NEW content announcements from what is rumoured, but the difference lies in that Sony's major announcements have not really been leaked tangibly or otherwise yet. So PlayStation's conference will probably have a bigger element of surprise and a stronger impact overall, depending on the announcements made and the flow of content throughout the 90 minutes. Last year's was impossible to call "close" for obvious reasons, but this year's will be markedly closer. I can see Sony winning around more gamers though, yet again!

Sony confirmed no Neo at E3 which is a bit disappointing. Have a strong feeling we will see the return of Crash but who knows. Other then that, I'm looking forward to see Horizon Zero Dawn and hopefully Shenmue 3/FFVII.

scark923622d ago

I feel Neo not being there is a relief, I want to see games not hardware, some VR would be interesting though

TXIDarkAvenger3622d ago

New hardware isn't going to take away from showing games but whatever.

Sunny_D3622d ago

No but they have to condense their times and it's better if they use all the time to show off games.

GamePeace3622d ago (Edited 3622d ago )

No one can 'win' anything, because it depends on the experiences and tastes of the people which console/hardware they choose.

akaFullMetal3622d ago

No one company wins e3, gamers win, because the companies are showing/hyping up gamers for their product. Everybody actually wins. Sure some shows might be better but in the end it's the games that matter.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

dveio14d ago

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing14d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Tanktopmaster9214d ago

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit14d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing14d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9213d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse

Looks like PlayStation took a hit with Marathon and is now quietly adjusting prices worldwide to recover the losses

andy8516d ago

Lets be honest raising prices doesn't do that when no one's buying it. I imagine the profit it greater selling 10 times more at a lower price

Pergele16d ago

Whatever you say buddy, let's all wear the tinfoil hats.

IceKoldKilla16d ago (Edited 16d ago )

LMFAO Your comment alone says a lot more about you than anything else. When has one game not selling 10 million copies made a company raise the prices of their console? Then Xbox would be costing $5000 by now lol. You remind of the crazy drug addicts on the street rambling on about conspiracies. xD You sure you don't need a hug, buddy?

ChunkyMonk15d ago

One game that Sony payed $200 million for. lol
Also, you sure were quick to get triggered. Maybe your the one who needs a hug?

Eonjay15d ago

If nothing else, we should be united against the real issue here. AI and unnecessary tariffs that are effecting all gamers.

The price increases are due to the RAM demand associated with AI and the US-Iran war. You can look to any business news website and local news to see that. Heck, even the 2026 Asus Zenbook Duo I've been eyeing has faced delays and has had a price increase of $400; that laptop has two specs. Asus is doing a staggered release with per-orders for the lower spec now and shipping in May and pre-orders for the higher spec that I'm eyeing starting in June. Basically, all computer manufactures are affected. It'll most likely start affecting smart phones too if it hasn't already. I can't remember the last time any major console maker (Nintendo, Sony, Sega, etc) increased the price of their console mid cycle outside of Microsoft just to make more profit.

S2Killinit15d ago

Its not the war. Its the RAM issue.

jznrpg15d ago

War is causing gas prices to rise. Transport of everything requires gas so the prices of those items go up as well. So it does have an impact

Athlon10115d ago (Edited 15d ago )

The blockage of the Straight of Hormuz due to the US-Iran war has affected raw components used in semi-conductor manufacturing such as bromine, aluminum, and helium. Iran had attacked the liquified natural gas (LNG) plant in Qatar which is a large producer (1/3 globally) of helium which is used in semiconductor etching. So it's the both the war and the RAM crises.

badz14916d ago

Oh no...should I get the Pro now before the price increase?
