E3 2016 is right around the corner. In fact, this past week has already seen plenty of announcements before the event has even begun. Here's what the SonyCentric crew is looking forward to from Sony's E3 2016 Press Conference.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
Hard to top last year's special occasion, but this year will be impressive I'd say.
- A few game announcements from first-party devs, and some updates and demos from others.
- Knack II announced, to mixed reactions.
- Great indie segment, hopefully includes ABZÛ, WiLD, and another couple of brand new ambitious projects.
- Third-party CoD and Destiny affirmations.... as expected.
- A few significant VR pushes including a segment for the formidable Star Wars VR.
- At least one third-party megaton, which I'm guessing will be.... Devil May Cry 5.
- Red Dead Redemption 2, either at Sony's or Microsoft's conference. If "Agent" is a real thing it's looking to be announced at Sony, and if so I would bet RDD2 will not also be there, so it would go to MS.
- Then there's Crash Bandicoot. 20th Anniversary of the first game.... a big song and dance at Sony's conference should be expected after all the years of teasing. I've heard rumours of a new All-Stars game, which I suspect will include Crash. Skylanders Imaginators (featuring Crash) to replace the Disney Infinity focus.
I hope squeenix come on stage to announce Rise of The Tomb Raider for this holiday... Greeted with boos and swiftly being scurried off stage. That would make my day
