Nintendo is still keeping major third-party development studios in the dark about its mysterious NX console despite the fact that the system will launch in less than a year, according to developers EGM spoke to at the Skylanders series’ Toys for Bob and The Order: 1886‘s Ready at Dawn Studios.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
This is really old news.
We have been saying that for 1.5 years now, and the media now just recognised this.
Really sad.
This is way old.....like a year old.....no dev who actually has it would say anything
If NX is supposed to launch march2017, (which will get delayed to Oct2017) - I think the DevKits should have been distributed by now. I strongly agree that NX won't have an x86 architecture, and third party support will be non existent.
The Neo and specially the Scorpio rumors caught Nintendo off guard.
They atr playing the waiting game to see what happens after E3...NX would probably last one year on the market before its over shadowed hardware wise by the Neo and Scorpio.
The same EGM article said that Ready At Dawn didn't know anything about what the NX was but the publisher of Ready At Dawn's next game has been in talks with Nintendo back and forth. So it actually sounds like Nintendo is talking to the right people and these questions are just being asked in the wrong direction... Stop asking developers this far out if they plan on supporting the NX and ask the publishers, they make all of the decisions in what goes where!
