I only miss the supernatural element in 4

Of course there are setpieces in uc4, two in chapter 11 (yes that clock tower one counts), that libertalia one escaping from that house thingy while shoreline blow it up leading to a two-on-one against nadine, and chapter 20 is one long insane and well worked setpiece of firefights and that black insurgent hunting you down till sully shows up with an rpg, (cba putting a [SPOILER] thing on, anyone who would have wanted to play uncharted 4 would have played it by now) and that pirate ship counts aswell.

I do agree in parts the pacing does slow (Scotland in particular, could have cut down on one or two adventuring sequences. Maybe madagascar with one or two areas cut from the driving.), would have been solved by splitting some chapters in two, increasing the chapter count from 22 to around 26.

I completely disagree, the setpieces in 2 were good, but not better than 4, or even 3 for that matter. And I don't understand this gripe about pacing. I'd argue that steady transitions only make a campaign more generic and predictable. And if there's one sure thing 2 can be knocked for wad it was very, very predictable. No shock value and completely anti climactic. The up and down action in 4 contributed to the torn emotions Drake was going through.

Aside from the Madagascar escape sequence in chapter 11, the game really had nothing new in terms of setpieces. It could have benefited from having more original setpieces instead of recycling ones from the earlier games like that collapsing tower in chapter 15, or Drake being chased by an armored vehicle in chapter 20. Sorry, but Uncharted 2 is the clear winner here when it comes to action.

Action without substance means nothing. Hell when it comes to action call of duty is probably one of the best out there. Not to mention 4 had some of the most intense gun battle action sequences of the entire series. I can think of 4 or 5 off the top of my head that were stressful as hell. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but thus far criticism of 4 has been completely grasping at straws.

Lol say something more reasonable? Like what, slowing the game down to a crawl somehow made the series better? There is nothing reasonable about that and it deserves to get truth bombed.

I don't force anyone to see my point of view. I'm not on petition.org for a single thing. I'm not telling naughty dog how to make games. I'm just saying that making excuses for the lack of action is a stupid thing to boast about. No, it didn't make the series better. That's a fact.

Edit: I don't "hate" anyone lol. I think he's a terrible director and I laugh at how some of you call his activism art but it's nothing personal. Uncharted 2 was better. Why can't you accept my opinion? Practice what you preach pal.
