A Japanese financial report seems to have outed a second Nintendo console in the works.

Cole Young almost made the jump from movie newcomer to game canon in Mortal Kombat 1, but a last-minute time crunch shut it down.

A rare first-party Nintendo games sale has just gone live on Amazon with around a dozen of the company's titles discounted.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.
Very interesting rumor. Now all the rumors about a hybrid console will turn into more rumors about previous rumors....lol. I wouldn't mind separate platforms if both are capable machines that could work together. NX will be better hardware if MH is separate. Plus the cost will be easier to handle separate anyway. Based on the previous NX rumors, I couldn't see the hardware being cheaper than $399-499 while being both powerful and hybrid. Now maybe NX has a chance to shine on it's own without carrying the weight of the handheld business in one machine. But this is simply speculation about speculation...based on speculation...lol.
This was proved false:

* Console & Handheld will each have their own library of games but SOME of those games will be playable on both....which will be up to the developer to make that happen, but would give that game 2 consoles worth of an install base to buy their game.
MH just means their new "mobile handheld" which could have higher rez 3D or any number of things. to say its gonna be an extension of the NX just because its also 2 letters that you dont know what they mean is dumb to say at this point.
