Bethesda Needs More Quality Control With Technical Issues After Far Harbor DLC Release

ThisGenGaming says "Bethesda, the ever growingly popular studio behind the brilliant Elder Scrolls, Fallout and Doom games to name a few and whenever a new game behind the brilliant minds at Bethesda comes out, I pray with all fingers and toes crossed that it’s not as buggy as any other games but that doesn’t seem to be the case as without fail, every time, Bethesda games will have at least one game breaking bug."

bethesda and quality control should never show up in one sentence

Crazyglues3641d ago

If you look at this, the fourth post down, I love that puzzle part, it took me all day to complete but I loved it, I thought it was done really well..

I'm disgusted on how they continually get a free pass when they release their games full of technical issues. They should get dragged just like any other studio would

thekhurg3641d ago

They also get a pass for having poor game design, bad wiring, terrible animations, awful combat, dated loading mechanics, bland landscapes, and copy pasted quest structure with zero substance.

LordMaim3641d ago

This has been an issue since... what, Fallout 3? Not exactly a new issue.

Lighter93641d ago

Nope. Oblivion maybe. Even Morrowind might've been buggy as well.

thekhurg3641d ago

Morrowind wasn't too bad. Their quality took a nosedive when they started focusing on console development along side PC development.

CJQNSNYC3641d ago

No, further back. Oblivion was where I was first introduced to the Bethesda Bugs. Not sure about Morrowind.

LordMaim3639d ago

Hell, Arena wasn't exactly super stable either back in the day.

AsunaYuukiTheFlash3641d ago

Bugthesda back at it again with their unpolished games.

KingOfArcadia3641d ago

I've played Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim, and now Fallout 4 from start to finish without any sort of game-breaking bugs. I must be lucky.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

dveio13d ago

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing13d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Tanktopmaster9213d ago

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit13d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing13d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9213d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
