Fallout 4: Which Is the Best DLC So Far?

With the release of Far Harbor, Fallout 4 has received all three of its confirmed DLCs. Here's how they all stack up against one another so far.

What DLCs? Far Harbor is the only one worthy thing in this pile of crap. It's not like we have much choice. There's one story DLC and two build your sim//robot/settlement things. I remember when Howard lied to us that settlements are going to be optional. Surely they are optional - e.g when game forces me to build a freaking teleport and they offer two crappy DLCs instead of story content with new landmasses. It's f#%@&@ optional.

Some casual bethesda defenders are going to yell at me "they are optional, you don't have to buy them!!!oneone". Yeah. But it's not like I have much choice do I? They should focus on the story addons, just like in the FO: NV and FO3. That's hovever, not the case as we'll soon see another two workshop addons called "Wasteland workshop #2" and "Wasteland workshop #3"

But casuals are happy with their settlements, mutating enemies and legendary drops (even if legendaries have no fucking sense lore-wise)

Just the bitter...and hateful...it's so strong in this one

letsgopal3654d ago (Edited 3654d ago )

I have right to express my disappointment.

KillZallthebeast3653d ago

my favorite part was when no one cared

KillZallthebeast3654d ago

Also anyone who doesn't have Alzheimer's knows a bethesda games comes with at least 30 dollars of dlc.

gave everyone fair warning of like a month before upping the cost so anyone bitter about that clearly had no interest to start with

letsgopal3654d ago (Edited 3654d ago )

So? When they increased season pass price, we were being told they'll make $60 worth of dlc addons. We already got Far Harbor ($25), wasteland workshop ($5) and automatron ($10) = $40

Now they're going to release NukaWorld ($? will be less than $25) and two wasteland workshop addons ($5 + $5). And that's it.

Lol you're adorable. It's like you want to hate because you feed off of it for survival. Whats next? You going to cry about your grandfather and then kill your dad while crawling in my skin plays in the background?

Oh I see the problem. You're playing a Bethesda open world RPG on the console. When will people ever learn.

KillZallthebeast3654d ago

you see PC people will never be liked if they keep down-talking to the majority...it's like being donald trump and saying why don't you just get a million dollar loan from your dad and get a PC

Nitrowolf23654d ago

Want to explain why you don't have a choice, does someone really have a gun pointed right to your head?

If it's because you bought the season pass that was once again your choice no one was forcing you to buy it and if your salty about it being $50 they gave you a chance to buy it at 20

I will admit the first two DLC were bad in terms of Fallout DLC standards they could have been easily just a free mod. Still Fallout games typically get to Big expansions so the other stuff in between is fair as the DLC is typically $30 anyway

I think this article is already redundant as Fallout 4 has only received one worthy expansion, Far Harbour.

EazyC3654d ago

Get real, those first two were sorry excuses for DLC, Far Harbor is great though

The atmosphere of Far Harbor is simply amazing, from the art design to the soundtrack, they really nailed the whole Lovecraftian new england town vibe.

They need to look at Morrowind and see what the progression should have been from there instead of the regression we got with the next 2 games. They weren’t horrible games but they could have been so much more.

Fallout 4 just felt too streamlined and accessible to me, the perk system was not as fun as it was in Fallout 3, not saying Fallout 3 didn't have issues but 4 just felt like a complete step back.

mastershredder195d ago

So the part where you just sold the same games for the last 10 years while you focused on 76 and merch, was not a reset from the "creative" aspect eh? How very Todd of you.

lukasmain195d ago

I bought Fallout 4 (I loved Fallout 3) at launch and I couldn't bring myself to finish it or even get close to finishing it. It was soooo damned boring and bland. I played on a very hard difficulty and I had hundreds of stimpaks. One of the only games I've played for a while and not ended up finishing it. I hated it. Just flat out hated it.
