As long as you guys slip me a copy of Cyberpunk 2077 I won't complain.

Majister-Ludi3668d ago

Well than you are a fool if you can live in a world where the witcher 4 will never happen. Cyberpunk should be amazing though, probably won't release very soon though.

starchild3669d ago

Jeez, I'm going to be as old as Geralt by then. At least it feels like it.

Perjoss3669d ago

Look on the bright side, you will be wiser too. All those dumb choices you made in Witcher 3, you will make much better ones in Witcher 4!

nitus103669d ago

Geralt is close on 100 years old when he appears in The Witcher 3.

Volkama3669d ago

Date to be confirmed. The project was outsourced to Team Ico, apparently :)

We will be fortunate if they can release a AAA game every year, which of course is not realistic.

Malphite3669d ago

Not sure what you're trying to say but historically CD Projekt take about 3-4 years to develop a game. I wouldn't count on Cyberpunk 2077 before 2018 (maybe even 2019) personally. And there is no way that they'll start pumping out sequels every 2 years. that's just not how CD Projekt does things.

CyrusLemont3669d ago

Wouldn't mind a Game of Thrones type television show to continue the story with Ciri as a struggling empress and Geralt hunting monsters again, with the two occasionally crossing over.

Ok well Witcher 4 on PS5, PC, and Next Xbox then

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

dveio37d ago

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing37d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit37d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing37d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9237d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
