i would love this so much i don't really seem that interested in re5 the wii is not getting it anyways throw a real resident evil the wiis way i bet it would sell a good amount

I've been wanting capcom to remake RE2 since the GCN remake of RE1. I really hope this is true.

i would buy it if it had the polish the remake for the gamecube had.Although i am getting tired of all the ports and remakes.

I'm kinda sick of the ports and REmakes. The gamecube one was great and I enjoyed it, but if they are going to bring a new RE to Wii I'd rather it be a main entry and made for the ground up for the system. In fact, I'm thinking I'd rather have a ground up Wii RE title than a port of RE5. Though if they decide to bring RE5 to Wii with RE4 controls, it may be the definitive version, and I may get that also.

Yawn............Another copy of an old game for the wii by Capcom. Why dont they make a new resident evil game (no RE5, but an exclusive game, by another dev team) instead of making a quick buck in selling outdated games.

Remake 0,1,2,3 with the RE4/RE5 camera and I would be happy, but that's just me.

But if they don't that's ok too, just actually remake it and not port the old version to a new system.

Oh but res2 is so old school anyways right, so last gen. What do u cool hard-cough-core gamers want old relic gameplay 4 anyway. Did u ever THINK that they put it on the wii because it will play better with the new controls???? Slapping a new coat of paint on an old game will not improve the game that much.

I mean if u got a game like super mario world and made them all super realistic...like a real plumber looking graphic..would that make the game better?? i SERIOUSLY doubt it.

Im not gonna lie i really liked Umbrella Chronicles alot.Capcom obviously took some time with that game and it shows.Although im with you on the whole new game.Although they already technically did that i think they should do a whole different game right now for wii.
Im not saying i wouldnt mind a re2 coming to wii but something fresh couldnt hurt.
I mean they did re4 wii edition(port)then the uc(which was a great game imo,and original),just a couple months ago re0(remake japan only) now the rumor of re2(remake).
As of right now i think we are in need of another original RE idea like UC.
The remakes/ports to original ratio is getting one sided.

i'll get it no matter what system it is on i have a wii and a ps3. personally im going to get re5 for ps3 cuz thats one of the reasons i wanted to get a ps3. and i will get it for the wii as well to add to my collection since most of my re games are on gamecube and wii. the same will be for resident evil 2 and the only way i'll get it for both system if one version contains more stuff then the wii version and will get both for the reason i aready explained. so i would like to come to the wii because its my favourite of the series i love and it would be nice if they bring it to all systems because not everyone owns 2 systems and would not like to spend alot of money to play a particular game and leave it to gather dust for all enternity
