Same, great to see it coming this year too.

Eh, it was actually really expected. Firaxis has been announcing games the year they come out for a while. Civ was also due for a new entry. Beyond Earth was almost 2 years ago, and usually they release the new game 2 years after the Spin-off. Civ V was almost 6 years ago, usually they release a new game 5 years after the last. I'm actually surprised it took them this long to announce it. I was expecting it a few months back, so I was starting to get worried it had development problems and would be pushed back another year.

It will be great at launch--then as expansion dlc comes out it will feel fresh again and then you'll want to delete it and reinstall without dlc again as you don't want to deal with changes and there wasn't an easier way to disable them.

I don't like the cartoons graphics in this one, wish it had the the graphics of the last one.

xcom 2 plays fine for me and my pc isn't even all that great. we also all knew it was going to be pc exclusive, just like the last ones. the only one on consoles was dumbed down and limited in gameplay.
