I say Overcry instead of Overwatch, Bloodborn instead of Battleborn, Battlecry instead of Battleborn, and Battleborn instead of Battlecry.

I was getting Battleborn, Overwatch and Paragon mixed up sooo much for so long. I get paragon looks different, but 3 big studios switching things up, all just kind of confused me as to what is what.

Tried both betas for battleborn and after trying overwatch, not much of a contest. Battleborn has the borderlands grahics going for it, but overwatch is a lot more fun.

Both will be over shadowed by Uncharted 4... Well that is on the PS4 anyways.... Both games Battleborn and Overwatch look fun and everything but yeah on PS4 this month with UC4 coming out.. they won't stand a chance in numbers of active players

Overwatch is going to be around for years on PC, not so sure about consoles given how quickly the scene changes. I've never really bothered with Uncharted's multiplayer so i can't really vouch for how long lasting 3 was. I dabbled in the horde mode but nothing major

I specifically was refering to PS4... it's included in my original comment.

I know the games are on other systems as well

@Masaharu... UC4 will have plenty of life... and that's just for the single player part of the game... then on top of that the first ever single player DLC expansion for an Uncharted series...

then you have the MP which has been a staple in UC since Uncharted 2... It also has a pretty big fanbase..

Just take a look at the people still playing The Last of Us!!!

I've now played both quite a bit and imo battleborn is garbage compared to overwatch. I would not have picked up battleborn after playing the beta but Overwatch is day 1. Not only that Randy Pitchford comes across as sleazy to me

You're not alone! It's the most genuine, count-down-the-hours-at-work, completely-lose-track-of-time, pure-and-simple fun I've had with a video game in a long time!

I tried the Overwatch beta and it just isn't for me. I'm not a fan of the "walk for 30 seconds to find the action, die in two, then walk for 30 seconds to find the action..." kind of twitch shooter.

Battleborn seems more thoughtful, involved, and strategic than Overwatch.

I thought Battleborn's biggest problem was well... Battleborn.

I loved their past work (Borderlands), but wowie. This game was pretty damn forgettable.

Spent some time with Overwatch and well it was a bit dull. Battleborn has got a lot more content going for it. Felt the matches in Overwatch were too short and some characters felt unbalanced or just plain useless

When I'm playing FPS online.. The easier it is, the more likely I am to stick around..

Overwatch is easier on the eyes and it's simply FPS + Objectives
Team fortress style..
I was gonna get DooM.. but I might just take the colourful Overwatch instead

I think that's the problem people have with Battleborn - it's deeper and more complex than Overwatch and people don't want to have to be bothered to learn how to play it.

this is why games like CoD do so well.. because it is easy to pick up and play..
The majority don't want to deal with deep complex mechanics. .

I have battleborn, so far the only thing I don't like is the number of maps, for excursion the game mode everybody plays only has 2 Freaking Maps!! I really don't like that and won't buy any DLC to support the game.

While this is great, at least when you look at things from the long term, it's hard to comment on how well the short term will be or how well this stuff will be implemented. This is the same sort of problem we saw with The Division. We heard a lot about the incursion, expected a lot from the incursion, yet the incursion was basically a hoard mode.

So, it could take months for us to see three or more maps and who's to say the additional maps will be big additions. It could just be different takes on the existing maps, so the six current maps will eventually be applied to all three different modes, instead of each getting two. This would be much lazier than completely new maps being added.

Out of sudden we have 3 or even more similiar games. What in the hell. Overwatch, Battleborn, Paladins and I bet there is more I just forgot the names. I always confuse Overwatch with Battleborn and istead of Paladins I keep saying Smite. Nowadays I feel like game industry is making complete retard out of me.

IMO, while they appear similar (not meaning graphics), they are pretty different games. Overwatch is more of the hero shooter in an arena. Battleborn is more MOBA than strictly arena shooter. Different strategic approaches for each game. Overwatch has more TF2 dna. While Battleborn seems to be the Frankenstein monster of Borderlands (graphics, writing, loot), Smite (3rd person MOBA), and a smattering of TF2 (for the capture points game types). Both are fun on their own rights. But, they are pretty different in execution.
