Today, Koei Tecmo announced its financial results for the full fiscal year 2025, related to the period between April 2025 and March 2026.

That is the one thing that always struck me as odd. How did Everquest manage to do it for Project1999?
But anyway, legacy servers should be offered. The demand is there. Real question is, does Blizzard want more money? If not, then legacy servers won't ever happen.
Can they? Yes. Will they? No. It would look terrible for their team if more people would rather play a 10-year old version of the game rather than the current live version.
Blizzard needs to look towards Everquest 2. They provide Time-Locked Expansion servers that start Vanilla and then allow the community to vote on unlocking the next expansion. It's a pretty awesome setup.
