Remember, don't bother taking off - you'll only be shot down.

Not exactly how great things come about in this world.

Tomonobu Itagaki has finally accepted his role in the gaming development cycle. Mr. Itagaki realizes that he can finally develop games and associate himself with the elite developers in the gaming industry today.

Ted Price, Hideo Kojima, David Jaffe, David Cage are all world renowned developers in this industry that have one thing in common. All of them develop only for PLAYSTATION®3. This further proves Dark Sniper's premonition of PLAYSTATION®3 being the most developer friendly console for those who truly want to realize their true vision.

As results show, Xbox 360 is only a beginners toy. Developing for the console itself is only a tool used to give a developer self confidence that he/she has made their own game. You can seriously consider Xbox 360 to be the training wheels on a bicycle. Itagaki's Ninja Gaiden 2 was an extreme flop, Clifford Blezenski's game was utter garbage, and Dark Sniper needs to mention no further when the name Dennis Dyack is brought into the conversation.

The final thought is PLAYSTATION®3 is a system made by developers, for developers. End result is that all Sony Snipers benefit from this as they recieve the best AAA titles that gaming has to offer.

is sony paying you or something??

FantasyStar6391d ago

I dunno, I said this in the other article snippet as well; It's going to take more than just a drunk man talking to make up for all the crap he spewed out those 3-4 years as a running mate for the 360.

No, Hes Just Being Real. Truth Hurts Doesn't it?

FantasyStar6391d ago

If everything Itagaki was before he was fired at Tecmo a lie, then I can't wait to hear him when he lies for Sony.

Kami6391d ago (Edited 6391d ago )

How the DMCA Laws Put Indie Developers at Risk

Filing a false DMCA claim costs nothing, requires no proof, and can destroy an indie game's launch in minutes. Fighting back can cost tens of thousands of dollars and take weeks (if you can afford it at all).

Copyright is copyright. DMCA is a good thing that protects creators IP., revenue and usage. and you can absolutely appeal a wrongful DMCA takedown. It’s happened to me. Was easily resolved.

....I don't feel like you read the article, at all.

it's a good thing, but it's also long been reported, across a variety of industries and websites, that currently the system is ripe for and full of abuses. From fair use strikes, to matters like the one reported in this article. It's clear the law needs some tooth to punish bad actors and that parameters need to be set in how reports are filed; ie human review of said content and not some AI bot false flagging stuff. As is the system is far to easily abused by those who have motive to suppress and flag content they have no business or right to.

Commentby11d ago

No system will ever be perfect, but there needs to be a review, unless it blatant.

Nevers0ft10d ago

Until there's genuine consequences for this type of abuse, it'll keep happening across all media. DMCA is in principle a good thing, but it needs an overhaul.

They should just make games. That sounds crazy, I know, but, hear me out.

No need for dev-times to.take 3+ years. Just stick to formula. Not every game needs to be bigger & better than everything else. Not every game needs to be GaaS. Not every game needs to completely re-invent the wheel.

They KNOW how to make a cool Splinter Cell game; Interesting story, 8-10 levels, just go and make it. Give the people want they know, want and love. It doesn't need to be a shared online experience. It doesn't need to be an epic big open world. It doesn't need celebrity voice-acting. Just make a cool new SC game, and the fans will be happy and pick it up. Easy. Done. Next one.

Same for Prince of Persia, Watch-Dogs, Assassin's Creed, Trials, Rayman, Brothers in Arms, etc.
