First, let me say I LOVED the game. That being said, I wouldn't have paid $60 for it. I would have just waited about a month until it was on sale at Best Buy or Target. The fact that it was only $40 made it almost a no brainer for me. They need to start considering lowering prices. For example, I will have Uncharted 4 on the day it comes out FROM MY LIBRARY FOR FREE for a week. I already have it reserved along with about 6 other games. I just don't buy games like I used to since Red Box and my local library have made it soooo much cheaper (I don't do multiplayer). Seriously, check your local library to see if they have games. I live in a suburb and they have a TON of games.

Hopefully the success of this game will encourage developers to remake/reboot other classic 3D platform titles such as Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Dexter, Ape Escape, Sly Racoon, Croc, Klonoa, & Tombi.

I think not being 60 dollars really helped, now if other games would continue the trend we'd be golden.

Congrats Insomniacs. Well deserved.

I'm loving the game! Currently on my first challenge mode playthrough and have all but a few trophies to go (just the ones for upgrading all weapons to max and the max health one). On the last level now, so I'll probably go through another challenge mode to polish off the rest of my trophies.

Such a dang fun game though. And I'm going to completely finish it off just in time for U4!

And it deserves its sales (and acclaim). I felt very strongly that I needed to support this game Day 1 because these kind of games don't get made a lot anymore. I didn't think it was going to do this great!

I'm really enjoying this game and it looks really good, but I really would like to play a R&C with more innovative gameplay. A 2016 platformer if I can call it like that. Look how much Uncharted evolved from the first one. I know that R&C is a remake and is staying to it's roots, it's basically the first one with prettier graphics and that's ok, but please make the next one a step above every other R&C that we have played before, raise the bar. Congrats with the sales.

Much like 2D side scrollers made a comeback I believe there is room for 3D platformers. I think there was a over saturation of FPS last generation and now open world games this generation. It was a breath of fresh air to replay a nostalgic game that was just fun and didn't take it's self to seriously, it was also priced very well which may have added to it's success.

Ratchet and Clank on the PS4 is my first ever Ratchet game and I am already obsessed with it! I have got 90% of the trophies completed, waiting to get that shiny platinum :D

I love the pixar like graphics, solid gameplay, funny humour, the story, everything about the game is fantastic!

This game is aces! Easily one of the best exclusives on the PS4! "Mr. Zurkon is here to kill!"

I think the only thing I'd like to see Insomniac do with this franchise is incorporate a LITTLE more of the platforming/puzzle elements. R&C really is a 3rd person action game with just a slight hint of platforming thrown in. I'd like to see them balance the game a little more evenly between platforming and action.

Also, I cannot understand why developers don't take more advantage of the controller speaker! That was a missed opportunity by Insomniac. As many characters that radio in to Ratchet, why didn't they funnel those calls through the controller speaker?? I'm playing Alienation right now and their incorporation of the controller speaker is fantastic!

That is both great and sad at the same time. It's great that a solid game can do so well after so much time, it shows that it's truly a classic...it's sad because it's a remake...and probably owes much of it's success due to the fact that it released during a drought on a console with almost 40 million install base now. I mean I know I'm gonna get hate for that, but seriously...think about it...40 mil PS gamers are itching for something to play until UC4 comes out...then suddenly a $40 classic game gets remade...and nostalgia/free time made tons of gamers jump in....I won't lie, that's why I got it. I don't regret the purchase at all, but I would have preferred a NEW fantastic game. I don't know, maybe just ignore me...I'm jaded on PS right now, I'm sure it will pass, but once Horizon got delayed all I can think about now is that UC4 is really the ONLY heavy hitter on the list this year (unless surprises get announced at E3).

And thanks for making the best Ratchet and Clank game EVER. Absolutely love this game. The controls are what make it feel top notch. The old titles feel wonky and slow in comparison. And i'm glad that enemies are finally challenging again. =]

I hope that insomnic learn where their crowd of gamers is.

R&C is a staple too, so I'm glad to see it getting the credit it deserves, or success rather.

I just played Sunset Overdrive and it's not too shabby either. Insomniac makes great games.
