Fallout 4 Mods Have Arrived

Today Bethesda Game Studios announced details for Fallout 4 Modding and the Creation Kit, with the open beta now available for PC.

Great news. Now we'll see the real potential of Fallout 4.

Garethvk3694d ago

Exactly. I want auto crafting so I do not have to deal with that.

I've been using mods on fall-out 4 for weeks 🤔

Garethvk3694d ago

Now they are supported by Bethesda.

I have no problem with making the modding process easier. Hopefully the only good thing to come out of Fallout 4 can be replicated by other games in the future especially on consoles. Seems Bethesda didn't uphold their part of having mods come to Xbox first.

Garethvk3694d ago

Imagine of my publishers embraced this model.

Mods are coming to Xbox before Playstation, which is what they said. It was always pc, then Xbox, then PS. Don't know why you thought otherwise.

MS say a lot to have some PR on press conferences.

LOL! They had power armor called "Horse Armor" Bruh, Bethesda got JOKES!

Can't wait to try them out. LOVED the Skyrim mods on PC.

Mods i want to happen, more kids (Loved it in Skyrim as it added children and teens to other races)
More dialog randomly
More items as I didn't even know just how many strange things Skyrim was missing in regards to small items.
Of course more missions.
No Loading city mod is an easy YES!
Degrading of weapons would be nice too

Loads of mods I can't wait to play on PS4 or PC (as I'm sure some can't be done on console).

Garethvk3694d ago

Not mod related but did you here the crank calls someone made with Preston of the Minute Men? I sent it to the radio show and they said they were playing it tomorrow. I just said do not do it ahead of my segment as I do not need people laughing that hard when we are trying to preview games we heard and saw at PAX East.

Mods will take off when these beefier consoles come out.Watch.

They need to look at Morrowind and see what the progression should have been from there instead of the regression we got with the next 2 games. They weren’t horrible games but they could have been so much more.

Fallout 4 just felt too streamlined and accessible to me, the perk system was not as fun as it was in Fallout 3, not saying Fallout 3 didn't have issues but 4 just felt like a complete step back.

mastershredder209d ago

So the part where you just sold the same games for the last 10 years while you focused on 76 and merch, was not a reset from the "creative" aspect eh? How very Todd of you.

I bought Fallout 4 (I loved Fallout 3) at launch and I couldn't bring myself to finish it or even get close to finishing it. It was soooo damned boring and bland. I played on a very hard difficulty and I had hundreds of stimpaks. One of the only games I've played for a while and not ended up finishing it. I hated it. Just flat out hated it.
