Thirty years ago when someone mentioned video games among the uninitiated, the common response might have been a reference to Nintendo. But today, it's arguable that “Xbox” has become a symbol for video games.

"Nothing is off the table right now."
BioWare's multiplayer shooter Anthem was terminated this week because EA no longer wanted to maintain servers for people to play the game on, and without them, no one can play the game. But the former executive producer of Anthem has revealed that BioWare had technology working, close to the game's release, that would enable us to host our own servers to play the game on.

VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "When you think about it, the essence of every game is problem-solving in one way or another. For the puzzle genre, that's expressed through a series of brainteasers. A challenge is placed at your feet and you're pushed to understand it with limited contextual clues. From industry veterans to relative newbies, familiar franchises to brand-new IPs, 2025 saw a deluge of impressive puzzlers. Among our finalists are not merely well-designed templates based on familiar staples; a couple move the genre forward in interesting directions."

Lol. What?
Well done 360
10 1/2 years was a great run.
Love the support it got right to the end as well as it got top releases along with the X1, Forza Horizon 2, TitanFall, TombRaider, etc
I think the 360's run was more inline with what ppl want when they spend top dollar on a console...to know they are the cream of that manufactures crop for, in this case, 8 years (before the X1 came out).
The sales of over 85m consoles in just 40 countries is also outstanding.
The Quarterly Financial Statements from top publishers like Activision, EA and Ubisoft consistently showed the 360 accounted for the lions share of their game sales so it's clear the functioning install base of the 360 was the biggest for 3rd party publishers.
Hail to the King Baby
thanks for introducing fees to play online with this console
