N4G Launches VGReleases.com

Today we open a new site in the N4G Network. VGReleases.com is an online calendar for video game releases. As well as being a great place to check what games are coming out in the coming weeks and months, the site also lets you track changes to release dates for games that you decide to add to your calendar. You also get notified by email whenever there are changes made to the releases dates of the games that you are tracking. We are still probably missing a few games and dates, so please give the site a few weeks to grow, and if you find any games with incorrect release dates please use the Submit Date option, and we will correct these as soon as we can.

As always, we are looking for your suggestions and feedback. You can email them to us using the VGR contact form.

We hope you like the new site!

Dusty,

Note: Since VGReleases.com is part of N4G Network you can use your existing N4G account to log into the site. We have also added release dates to game profile pages here at N4G.

Yeah i agree , is this what the site maintenance was?

Salvadore6468d ago (Edited 6468d ago )

Indeed, now I don't to rely on Wikipedia or another website. This also ensures that I will continue my membership on the site as the staff are working hard on improving the overall experience and quality.

chaosatom6468d ago (Edited 6468d ago )

gotta mark them all.

I didn't know about mirror's edge release date.

i forgot socom and motorstorm :(

gaffyh6467d ago (Edited 6467d ago )

I needed a site like this a few days ago, so it's very cool that someone finally launched one. It's pretty cool how it's integrated into N4G.

Nice layout, but it looks too gamesradary.

Problem - When you hover over the Australian flag it says "Autralia"

Also it's kinda stupid that you've got FFXIII (360) release date as 27 Mar 2009 in Europe (and no release date for any other version anywhere else). FFXIII will not be out on 360 in Europe by 27 Mar 2009, that's pretty much impossible, maybe 2010

DaTruth6467d ago

If it has any affiliation with VGChartz than you can be sure that all the release dates will be off by a pretty wide margin.

dodgecity6467d ago

But I hate the execution. What a amateurish design. I had high hopes when seeing the topic. :(

masterg6467d ago (Edited 6467d ago )

Great site..

Found a couple of errors though.

01 Feb 2009
The Getaway 3 (PS3)

01 Mar 2009
Eight Days (PS3)

That would be a big shock :)

No more going to gamespot for a good release date list. This rocks.

10 stars.

SECOND!

Chubear6468d ago (Edited 6468d ago )

Hopefully it doesn't go down hill like GS's with crappy or inaccurate info rampant.

Shouldn't there be a tab where can instantly go here from this site though.

**HOLY CRAP! WiC is coming out on the 2nd of September?! Is this the start of crappy date listings? If it is the 2nd then this site's sister site just got a unlimited Bubbles from me.

SolidSnake936468d ago

There should, but they didn't put a tab in for badjoystick either.

skynidas6468d ago

There is one, look at the top, it says the following: | N4G | VGReleases | BADJoystick | GameNews24 | ZTGD | Price Comparison |

Chubear6468d ago

That got updated pretty quickly. Kinda one of the reasons I like this site a bit more than others. It's a site truly founded on the contribution of everyday gamers. For gamers by gamers.

Some kinks to be worked out it seems but great feature none-the-less.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

dveio12d ago

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing12d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Tanktopmaster9212d ago

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit12d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing12d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9212d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
