After much deliberation, i like the PSP better. The DS feels too confined. You don't feel connected to the world at all!

I have the same problem with the Wii and Xbox 360. I don't feel open to the world...I feel trapped in menus. With the PS3's XMB I feel free...just like I do on my computer. I feel like I can talk to anybody in the world...which I can do...because of the browser and the easy messaging system. (I find Live's messaging system too slow.)

With HOME coming out, people will feel more connected than ever...that's why it's like home. It's comfortable. People feel connected to other people. Humans LIKE interaction, it turns out.

I call that pretty good...not as good as the DS...but good.

With this new model comming out in October (PSP-3000) it will only increase sales. Sony is not operating like Apple release an updated model every year....ie PSP 3000, and PS3 80Gb and 160GB...people like new stuff...and also sony is good at adding new features in firmware updates...

The PSP will end up at least at 60 million before the PSP2 comes out...

DS sell well because it's mostly about games. The PSP can bake you a cake and I still do not see it doing as well as the DS.

I seem to play my DS more often because of it's games and the touch screen adds more functionality.

The PSP always had better hardware in every aspect, so I don't see no difference. It will continue to do so and as well lag behind.

Focus on games..add a touch screen to even the market and tap niches.

Its been selling really well, or so i thought anyway :-S. Im not usually one to ridicule people but i have to say i dont think this guy knows much of what hes saying.

if there is a lot more games which support the remote play, I think the sales of the PSP will rise dramatically! right now, only limited numbers of PS3 games can be played with remote play and that's frustrating! only photos, videos and music are fully supported by remote play making it feels like 'limited'! I wish for more games to support remote play so I can play more PS3 games on the go where there is WiFi. Cpme on Sony, you can do that, right?

The DS sells really well mainly because it seems more so of a "portable" system. The quality of its graphics seem like it's made for portable. While the PSP seems like a portable PS2 of some sorts. Which can be a good and bad thing. A lot of people want something low quality, but advanced. A lot of people are intimidated by the psp because it's so advanced. The DS is also only 125 dollars while the PSP is 200 dollars. When someone, especially a kid wants a handheld after already owning a console, that 100 dollars can be very important. I personally prefer psp though.

The article seems pretty retarded. The system has sold amazingly well for ages now, and has far surpassed what the hacks suggested it would do.
Nintendo have comepletely dominated the market for handheld gaming since the original gameboy, so for a new machine to come along and take a large slice of the market is a great performance, software sales are an issue, but we all recognise thats this is mainly due to the rampant piracy on the system.
Those complaining of 'no good games' are simply not talking form experience, and I've played some excelent titles in the last couple of years, including many fine jrpg's, some innovative and fun puzzle titles and some great action/arcade games. There are two PSP's and two DS machines in this household, and the its PSP's that get all the attention when we want small screen entertainment!

The system is underated. Seriously it does have great games in every genre. The only thing the DS has over it is great game ideas, which is huge. Its got the innovative 2screens, mic and touch screen. Graphics are decent for a handheld so DS still has the edge. But the PSP has PS2 quality games in GoW and FFCC plus full GTA games and great remakes of older games like MMPU and G&G. great racing games like RR and Wipeout plus great multimedia functionality.
