Battlefield 5 is finally releasing soon and here’s a list of what DICE and Electronic Arts need to change and improve on to make it great.

EA is laying off an unknown number of individuals from across its Battlefield teams, including workers at Criterion, Dice, Ripple Effect, and Motive Studios, IGN understands.
When logic meets EA it generates anti-matter ..... so try not to apply it in any meaningful way. Entropy is what matters in there !!
cue the apologist saying that these are mostly just contractors hired for this specific project bla bla bla

The free-to-play reboot topped 15 million players in under three weeks, but EA now claims it needs to reshape the development team.
The community warned them this would happen but nope they knew better they continued with the live service push the made the art style cartoonish and this is the result

The Congressional Labor Caucus sent a letter to the FTC warning the debt-financed, largely PIF-owned deal could be bad news for workers
lol ya think? they're sending all that work to the cheaper labor market as soon as possible. and FYI, that labor market has exploded in the last 5-10 years. They have enough people to replace every single job. But honestly, EA is over filled with useless upper management as it is. You could probably trim 25% of their staff with no real loss in production. They aren't gamers, they're business execs. Just look at how many AI related jobs they're already starting to post. Its also hilarious that PIF owns Battle field 6
Wait,
The same congress that attacked Lina Khan when she fought the Microsoft Activision purchase.
The same congress that allowed Disney to buy 90% of Fox
The same congress that allowed Liv Golf to buy the PGA
The same congress that sits back while Paramount tries a hostile takeover despite losing the bid for Warner Bros.
NOW, the suddenly cares about doing what's "right" for works? Yeah, right.
EA now owned by The Saudis and Ubisoft to inevitably be owned by China. In hindsight, once EA and Ubisoft started having their financial woes, they should have pulled a Koei Tecmo/Bandai Namco by merging their operations into one.
I think it needs an offline bots MP mode like the original SW:BF games had, along with some way to organize a series of conflicts like Galactic conquest did for those games.
New game modes is my #1. The current online PvP modes that are in shooters are so stale. I've been playing the same modes for over 15 years now. The company that can innovate and come up with something new will be very successful.
A hardcore mode with standard weapon damage and full health.
Admins on both PC and Console to be able to allow and disallow certain weapons (ex. Knife and Pistols only) limit player classes (Ex. No more than 10 snipers on a team) as well as disallowing spawn beacons, only allow to spawn on squad leader, move pokemon balls that light up players in the 2d map, and so much more.
Allow admins to set appropiate weapons for player classes. For example. No DMR's for Support class and only for Sniper class or what have it.
Let admins allow and disallow certain vehicle for the map. Ex, no MAA on small maps that would be annoying.
Pretty much. Just allow admins to have control of their server is all I want... Ranked obviously.
IN-GAME commander mode...
it needs lots of rebalancing again. It needs to work properly at launch. The bug that is console in which your weapon doesn't spawn with you needs to go. DICE needs to greatly tone down all the unlocking shit in the next BF game. There is way too much shit like extra knives.
Problems with this article, we don't need animations for getting in vehicles. We just need better hit detection to allow players to kill other players in vehicles with weapons.
Skip the single player campaign and just give the player a bots mode. Battlefield did not always have a campaign and it has reached the point in which it is a waste of resources.
Tip for this site, put the whole list on one page not 17.
