Sony's bold entrance into the console market back in the '90s heralded the use of CD-ROMs instead of cartridges, which convinced several companies to jump on board the PlayStation train. It turns out FromSoftware was one of those companies lured in by the appeal of discs.

Elden Ring Nightreign, a weird and experimental multiplayer-led title that FromSoftware basically built in a cave using exploded fragments of Elden Ring proper, has been a big hit.
I don't think I care about this guys journey through all the souls games but he did make me wonder which of these souls games was the most brutal. I think demon souls was the hardest one and bloodborne the easiest. Also with so many bosses through these five games a better question would be which one of these 90 or so bosses is truly the champion of brutality the one boss that did more than cause you grief, and despair with each killing blow he dam near made you cry and suck your thumb maybe you even begged him for a break lol. The one that made you tremble and just made you glad you never have to fight him again...unless of course you need a reminder.
For me it was the hunter of hunter of hunters that guy that killed Eileen crow. Such a simple enemy totally non intimidating until he unleashes that bloodletting stab killing you in one or two swings.
This guy had me ready to give up, just throw in the towel he was so grossly overpowered but dam I wanted that crow armor. I literally jumped out my seat when I finally dealt that killing blow.
I remember that mini boss in Bloodborne. I was getting defeated everytime. I finally found a pretty good strategy. Numbing Mist was enough for me to keep his health down and get the shots I needed. The Eileen Crow set was really cool as well.
