The background image on the official website seems to indicate that Titans will be able to run on walls in Titanfall 2.

Wow wall-running Titans interesting!!

Alexious3687d ago

It would change the gameplay a bit for sure.

Hopefully some of the elements of the environments will be destructible.
I can understand why spaceships wouldn't be touched by a smaller vehicle like one of these mechs, but Human made buildings, designed to make up fixed cities, made of concrete should be destructible to some degree.

If there's no destruction then it needs to be for plausible reasons, not just because.

I like the possibility of Mechs being able to scale sky scrapers, smash chunks out of huge buildings and traverse a map with ease, that would make for some very intense multiplayer and campaign action.

The potential for gameplay with that and mechs, along with agile soldiers on a battlefield would be amazing if Respawn can pull it off.

If destruction isn't part of the game, then hopefully the studio can at least make a solid campaign, with a quality story.
I'm looking forward to seeing what this studio can do with this game.

I would like that but also a more large scale titanfall and with more than like 8 players....something like 18-24

* I'm kind of sick of wall running in games.

The only game it really works for is Assassins Creed.

I'm looking forward to Titanfall 2 on the ps4.

I got into Titanfall a bit late back when it first came out, so I'm excited to get Titanfall 2 day one.

As for wall running titans, that actually sounds like it would be a lot of fun and could change the game up quite a bit.

I think this is a retarded idea. Titans are huge for one. Picture one of those big MFs running on a wall. Not to mention what wall could take the force of one jumping into it to even start a wall run.

Secondly they could make certain Titans wayyyyy smaller to make it more feasible but then you are running the risk of Titans using any uniqueness from being on foot. The evasiveness of being on foot and the clunky tank of death were major differences in gameplay and strategy. You could literally stay on foot and murder Titans due to a lack of movement on their part. Agile Titans eliminates that almost instantly.

Increase the number of live players, spread out the maps, and make a LOT of Titans for different play styles. This would clear up most of the first games complaints and a good start.

I agree with this. The time travel mechanics. The sense of scale. The relationship with your mech. The bosses all had personalities. It's a wonderful game.

Yeah it was good, but it only did the time travel bit in one level. Dishonered 2 did the same thing. Now how about a game where it's implemented throughout the gameplay? Singularity says Hello (and deserves so much more recognition).

Never say never, I really didn't expect to ever see Space Marine 2 and 12 years later its almost here.
So there is still hope for all these games.

I've completed 5 of the games on the list, but the author forgot to include Advent Rising. It was supposed to be a trilogy, but it bombed hard, and the two sequels never got made. It was Mass Effect, a console generation before Mass Effect.

The game is buggy and unpolished, it needed a few more months of development, but the potential was there. At the end of the game, you have all these super abilities, I remember the stomp attack that created a shockwave being especially powerful.

I personally think days gone will recieve some sort of sequel at some point. I'm personally also hoping it's not the rumored multiplayer online stuff. I'd think most that enjoyed it would rather thisnto.

Sony needs to dust off Sly Cooper and Days Gone so needs a sequel two of my favorite Sony titles. Bulletstorm I love great game wish it also got a sequel. And I wish Namco would finally give Enslaved a sequel another great game.

A best all time mecha game list without Zone of the Enders even on the list is 100% crap to me. Worth saying twice though not intentional
