We have very exciting news today. We’re delighted to announce that on the 25th April, Codemasters will be expanding its portfolio of studios to include the highly-respected and very talented team from Evolution Studios.

An update on EA SPORTS™ WRC.
Dear Rally Community,
Every great journey eventually finds its finish line, and today, we announce that we've reached the end of the road working on WRC.
'It marked the first time the studio had used the license in 18 years since 2022’s Colin McRae Rally 3.'
Can you not get AI to do proofreading?
Weird article written by a bot.
In any case I knew EA would ruin Codemasters.

Multiple games developed by Codemasters have been delisted on Steam just recently without any previous warning from EA.
Here’s the deal with this bullsh*t, and this is the single reason I f*cking hate digital, this wouldn’t be so much an issue if these people would give an announcement before they pull their games so people have a chance to get them before they’re gone. I mean, how hard is that to do?
Like, I prefer digital for the convenience of it and making me less of a hoarder, but stuff like this can drive me up the wall and I’m aware this also happens with physical games, but you can still acquire a game from eBay, though all scalped to hell, whereas digital you’re SOL… unless you have a PC.
These games had exactly 0 players. If you haven't played any of them by now you really didn't care in the slightest. Suddenly you're dying to play one of these classic turds? Sail to cs.rin.ru.
i mean .. i hate this practise. atleast give people like a 2 months headsup.
idiots

PushSquare:
DriveClub, the legendary PS4 racer from shuttered Runcorn studio Evolution, has such an interesting story.
Originally announced alongside the PS4, the game had been intended as a launch title – we even played it in a big London church Sony had rented to showcase the new system prior to its release.
Evolution was done dirty... DC is still the most stunning visual game of its generation. They certainly deserved better in the end.
Loved it.
Now here's a game that would benefit from a remaster.
4K, 60 FPS
I'd buy it.
Brilliant game, I really miss it, and it deserved so much better than what Sony did to it.
Most important reason I liked it; It was FUN. That’s it. The actual gameplay, throwing a car around corners, the challenging AI opponents, the entertaining tracks which were peak-design, etc etc, it was above all just FUN to play.
They joined with Codemasters, the team gets to stay together.
Just submitted the article.
Finally some really cool news.
I thought folks here said that most of them were placed in other Sony studios.
Great news, now that can make pretty racing games with awesome game play.
Wow, codemasters just leveled up!
after playing dirt rally all of last week an some drive club over the weekend this is awesome news grats guys :D
