Price pressure is going to set in early for the all-digital platforms; game creators will need to explore how people are willing to pay.

Alien Isolation Grand Mother VR is an all new virtual reality experience for Creative Assembly’s best ever horror game.
I played through most of the PS4 version of the game but stopped because another game came out. I bought it last year for PC with the intention of using the VR mod but haven't gotten around to setting it up. I am glad I waited.
Great game, even better in VR. A little drawn out by the end, but I hope we see CA do something a little different with the sequel.
Sweet. I also rebought this game on Steam for the purpose of VR. I'll have to give it another shot w full immersive controls. I had only tried it out briefly before.
It's funny this was never officially released at retail as a VR game, bc it feels so perfect for it!

The Polish studio behind Bulletstorm and Outriders confirms plans to phase out its VR publishing activities.
Holger Frydrych has just released a cool VR Mod for the 2007 version of Crytek's first-person shooter, Crysis.
Playing it right now looks amazing! :D
so much fun, i hope they make a vr mod for crysis 2 / 3 too!
This is amazing. This is the direction VR should go in to boost adoption. Since I have beaten every Crysis except 1, this is now a good excuse to correct that problem.
Early on, devs stand to make a lot of cash as software will naturally be limited day one. So expect a lot of sub-par games released by devs looking to cash in on early VR excitement. Its the same with all software.
Past that, it all depends on the reception. A lot of unknowns here in terms of usage etc.
Septic's Pro-tip- add booty to your games.
So many words and nothing was actually said. There's being intelligent, and there's filling paragraphs to make a quota. It's why I stopped buying the magazine. let's be real about it... Real talk...
VR content will make money if the content is GOOD. Has nothing to do with pricing, has nothing to do with free to play, has nothing to do with being casual or core and has nothing to do with artificial length with mindless side missions and collecting. People can tell when a developer CARES about the product they make. When you make garbage, don't expect a returning customer.
When you make something compelling, something fun, something with value for the price, you build a brand and customers will come back for more of what you're offering every time. Make a good VR product, you'll make money.
Developers are jumping in because the VR headsets WORK. No half @ssing like kinect. No actors misleading people. No onstage miming. No 500 million dollar marketing campaigns. People see it, people use it, they know it's immersive and works.
Any developer who tries to skimp on quality will learn a hard lesson. Those making great things will find themselves leading the pack with consumers. Just because you're a big publisher means nothing. Rocket league and Minecraft show that you don't need millions to make a hit.
Well, if dev's make a good VR game, I would expect the VR gamers to support this with real cash! 😉
