It has become popular due its difficulty and it is one of the few games out there that gives us such a challenging time while playing. As the third instalment in the Dark Souls franchise, Dark Souls III has a lot to live up to. Reviews have been generally positive and people are thoroughly enjoying it. However, it would appear that this has been marred somewhat by the poor frame rate players are experiencing as they get further into the game."

Bandai Namco has released its latest financial report, revealing that the Dark Souls series has reached around 40 million units combined.

The Nerd Stash: “Whether you’re here to gloat about your victories or to see what the fuss is about, we present to you the hardest bosses in the Souls series.”
The unfortunate reality is that the ability to patch a game coupled with gamers' impatience and rush to buy a game the second it has been released has conditioned companies to believe that it's ok to release a buggy, broken game. Should we accept frame rate issues, rushed games, bugs, and lackluster content? No, just as we shouldn't accept a movie that's filmed entirely out of focus. But it seems we already have.
I'll try for myself and let you know. Sometimes the Internet makes things bigger than they are.
There is no reason that after so many games with the same engine or a modified version their games should be having those severe drops in certain areas or frame pacing issues. IF it happened one or two times and then they remedied it in the sequel thats understandable but damn like four different games with the same engine and they all have similar issues, well between fps drops and frame pacing.
I do agree though that some of those issues get blown out of proportion lol To be honest not everyone is sensitive to frame pacing (i never noticed it until i read it on neogaf and had to really pay attention). Also the fps drops from what i remember only happen at certain points but not for the majority of the game but ppl talk about it as if it hinders their enjoyment of the game (maybe it does but not mine)
In conclusion im not saying Fromsoft arent good developers because their games are awesome. Im not saying dont buy their games. Im just saying that we should care about the issues and let them know they need to seriously fix them (i know many of us have gone on twiiter to let them know in the past).
No
Every souls game had issues with the frame drops in certain locations and it didn't ruin the experience.
But nothing can't beat Valley of Defilement in Demon's Souls.
