Carston Anderson writes: "If you've been with is for awhile then you'll notice that two of my coworkers have already covered Wartile before, and generally speaking the response has been positive, both among staff and other journalists at places such as Kotaku, PC Gamer, and Polygon. So you can imagine my surprise when I logged into Kickstarter and discovered that the campaign was cancelled three days before the Kickstarter was scheduled to end."

GD365: "Humble continues to not only bring gamers as many offers as possible but to continue to support charities worldwide. This time, we have the Humble Digitized Tabletop Inspired Video Games Bundle, a bundle full of board game-inspired video games, where a percentage of the proceeds will go to charity."
"The Denmark-based indie games studio Playwood Project and Germany-based video games publisher Deck13 Interactive are today very pleased and proud to announce that “Wartile: Complete Edition” is now available for the Nintendo Switch in Europe via the Nintendo Eshop (the game is currently 20% off via the Nintendo Eshop for a limited time)." - Jonas Ek, TGG.

KeenGamer: "Wartile impresses with its unique take on a cooldown-based tactics game. The visual presentation, assortment of levels, and replayability are great to see, but while the move to Nintendo Switch might open the game up to more players, the smaller screen could also be a detriment."
Pretty sure the kickstarter failed cause they didn't make enough money, heh
This game actually stood out from all the cookie cutter games out there. I'm shocked that it didn't reach it's funding goals.
