Exclusive games such as Electronic Arts’ Star Wars Battlefront will play an important role in enticing PlayStation 4 owners to invest in virtual reality, according to John Koller, vice president of marketing at Sony Interactive Entertainment.

PlayStation Store shoppers are seeing fewer undesirable search results. ThiGamesDE, a major publisher of shovelware like The Jumping Spaghetti, no longer appears on the marketplace. The games are inexpensive, duplicate versions of other titles that appeal to trophy hunters.
dude who made those games definitely made bank with them tho.
im glad they're gone tho
Too bad for the trophy hunters, but this action is necessary.
The existence of these games for the sole purpose of helping people pad their trophy list cheapens the experience.
It also clutters the store with garbage games.

Insider Gaming has learned that the ongoing price increases in RAM due to the rise in AI could delay the next generation of console releases.
What is even the incentive of upgrading to the next-gen after this console generation we've had? Graphics are plateauing, prices at an all time high, studios skipping entire generations or simply releasing just one game for it...
Its a mess
Im good with next gen being pushed back to 27/28. It feels like this gen has only just begun.
Regardless of RAM price increases, I strongly believe there’s still a lot of potential left for the current gen. I’d be fine with at least 3 more years.
Whenever it comes out is fine with me. I still have backlog for the next year at least

The hugely popular VR game, Puzzling Places, has received a brand new Holiday Update available to download for free on all formats.
'just by the nature of it being designed as a VR experience, it’s going to be very different than the PlayStation 4 game.
Great, it really needs to be something different. Being from DICE Im hoping its still a shooter though. I know games are not all about shooters but thats what PSVR needs along with stopping calling them 'experiences' but instead 'VR Games' IMHO
Rogue Squadron VR incoming.
I won't have to buy the game again right? And I hope psvr works for all the modes. When I first heard the announcement I imagined it would be the same game but with psvr immersion.
200% no. Game is dead and buried. NO gimmick is going to revive it.
It hits a bottleneck either way. Either you get the same game with the VR stuff in it and have to buy it all over again. Or you get an update to the PS4 version and they have to create separate lobbies because VR people will have a clear advantage over controller aiming.
Personally the same game with VR added in doesn't make it new and it won't make it worth another $60 dollar purchase.
