Doubt that. I'd love Fallout Online, though.

OMG! do you know how Amazing that would be, I have wanted to do that since the game came out...

As I'm sure other people feel the same, how cool would it be to go to your friends compound and see how well they built it up, and maybe help or get help or trade ideas...

And what about going on missions together, how awesome would that be... This game would jump off the charts if they add co-op..

It would make the DLC one of the best ever made... that feature, if done right would make Fallout 4 the must have game of 2016...

Would just be the best thing ever..

I should have read this before I commented lol, I completely agree. As they were showing off how customizable things were I thought for sure there would be something eventually. Maybe if we're loud enough Bethesda will listen.

It's just a piece of silliness by Beth is all, I'd like co op though.

Hopefully not. Some games need to stay single player to show how cherished it is.

Bethesda should focus their time on something more meaningful

It would bring me back to the game faster than some story DLC. I would love to have a world that i can have a real partner in rather than an idiot AI that doesn't know how to stealth or get out of my way.

If the game had the ability to let a friend take over a companion or something like that, it would only be a plus. And you could still play single player if you wanted to, and I highly doubt it would take up enough time to seriously impact other content or projects.

I really don't get the argument that when people say some single player games need to stay single player, why? To show how cherished it is? People still love good SP experiences, and there are a lot out there that could benefit from it. Dark souls always comes to mind when I think of how it would work out, the game amazing in single player and just has the option of MP if you want to add another element to the game. Plus when it comes to fallout I've thought this since they showed off the settlements, what a wasted opportunity it is to have them so customizable and perfect for showing off, and not being able to let some friends in to show it off in that way. Among other opportunities as well obviously, but that one keeps coming to mind.

almost every single player only game that got online in some form. made the single player not as good. throw in online to make some happy....plus they would have to change the entire game to suet another player. and the last thing i want is to be playing alone to see unwanted messages telling try or best played with another person type crap.

Herpofderpopol3740d ago

Can you give some examples? And perhaps actually explain how it made the sp worse in those examples? I've been gaming for almost twenty years and for some reason can't think of any myself. And how would they have to change the entire game? I'm not buying any of that it seems like your just projecting. Honestly dude, a message to play with another person is that big of a deal to you? In menu screens who cares, outside of menu screens during gameplay, dos that even ever happen?

Kane223740d ago

leave this game alone. almost every game now has some stupid form of online even in single player only games.

smolinsk3740d ago

Stop with the online co-op comparrison, and say the same sad thing over and over again that we should leave singleplayer games alone..it's Co-Op not online Call of Duty style we are talking about here. Look at Dying Light, the Co-Op part works great even playing alone, and you feel no different. So yes Please bring on Co-op in Fallout 4, whould be amazing:)

They need to look at Morrowind and see what the progression should have been from there instead of the regression we got with the next 2 games. They weren’t horrible games but they could have been so much more.

-Foxtrot223d ago

Fallout 4 just felt too streamlined and accessible to me, the perk system was not as fun as it was in Fallout 3, not saying Fallout 3 didn't have issues but 4 just felt like a complete step back.

mastershredder223d ago

So the part where you just sold the same games for the last 10 years while you focused on 76 and merch, was not a reset from the "creative" aspect eh? How very Todd of you.

lukasmain223d ago

I bought Fallout 4 (I loved Fallout 3) at launch and I couldn't bring myself to finish it or even get close to finishing it. It was soooo damned boring and bland. I played on a very hard difficulty and I had hundreds of stimpaks. One of the only games I've played for a while and not ended up finishing it. I hated it. Just flat out hated it.
