Home. Gamers have been waiting for it for quite some time now and some were beginning to think it would never arrive at all. But here at the German Games Convention, Home did in fact make an appearance at the top of a stylish, multi-tiered patio structure built into Sony's booth. IGN had the pleasure of sitting down with Martijn Van Der Meulen, a Producer on Home, to talk about what's going on with the free software that promises to revolutionize the way PS3 owners interact with one another online.
Benjamin Rivers has suggested that it is “totally possible” for two of his titles — Alone With You and Home — to be ported to Nintendo Switch.
I recently published an article about beating my Steam backlog by getting organised and the first game I’ve completed with this new approach is Home.
I chose Home not because of its production values or reviews, but because, well, it’s short. I needed a game to start my new approach on the right foot and read that Home takes less than two hours to beat.
Whatever my reasons for finally installing Home, I found it to be an enjoyable yet flawed title.

"Meulen said that items like clothing, furniture and other knickknacks can be unlocked and also rewarded through other external games. Games can communicate with Home, so if you beat, for example, God of War 3, maybe you'll unlock a Kratos t-shirt in Home to wear. These sorts of possibilities are definitely exciting because this gives developers another avenue to not only promote their products but give gamers a little bonus for playing their games."
I believe this concept has more latent potential than Achievements or Trophies. Just needs to expand a bit.
"First and foremost, Meulen told me (without hesitation) that it is a 100 percent guarantee that Home will be released by the end of this calendar year. He has absolutely no doubt that this will be the case, so it looks like the long wait to come Home is finally reaching its conclusion."

if they could tell me when it comes out that would make me sooooo happy but for now ill just play my cod4 risistance uncharted motorstorm and cant wait for lbp god of war 3 and the most excited for Killzone 2 baby!!!!
Question now is when will home beta invites go out for the US, hopefully its some time next week.
update: No that was for Japan and UK, I havent heard anything for the US as of yet.
