Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.
It is real as far as it's physical creation but real in the sense that it being Nintendo's is still yet to be determined.
There are no resemblances to any previous controller design in this one, and Nintendo usually has something that is a giveaway in their designs.
Could be a really neat 3rd party designed unit but let's just wait for the official reveal from Nintendo themselves.
I don't hate it. It's not what I was expecting or hoping for, but it could be an interesting idea. I guess we'll see.
My only thing with this are the dramatic changes that can happen before release. Yes, this looks final but that doesn't mean anything. Remember the prototype slider PS Vita's? Those looked pretty damn good as well.
So yeah, hopefully this public bashing they're getting will make them rethink this whole completely ergonomic failure of a controller.
