I know this problem all to well.
The last game I had to put down was Escape Dead Island. Truth be told, I got it for $14 and it is supposed to be an easy platinum, but oh God it has some of the worst frame rate and pop-Ins I have seen for a PS3 game and the art style (if that is what you want to call it) is horrendous. It makes Ride to Hell seem like a 9/10 game! I'll probably finish it some day..... never???
I got annoyed and stopped playing Tales of Hearts R and felt the same with Resonance of Fate. They started out well. I was just bored over time.
