Definitely. Surprising enough some of the best games deals with Time Travel.
Chrono Trigger and Zelda Ocarina of Time are best examples.

I hadn’t heard anything about this game until I saw it in my local used game shop, , the two clerks knew nothing about it, and everyone I’ve talked to since I bought it hasn’t heard anything about it. That’s really a shame, because I discovered an absolutely fantastic RPG that day."
