Luckily my move controllers and camera had not shipped yet from Amazon. Canceled those and will just pick up this bundle.

this is a great deal if you dont already have the camera and move controllers. i hope the core bundle comes with the game too

Well there you have it. The bundle that the haters were asking for and is still cheaper than Oculus and Vive so I wonder what's the next excuse will be...

At the end of the day, to ensure I get a shipment, I think I will just order the bundle. Screw the fact that I already have a camera. I can always sell it off cheap to someone who doesn't have one.

I wonder if all those people expecting it to be $199-299 are mad or spinning it. Seems to be a lot of backtracking on the price feelings. "This thing will never sell if it's $500". Well. It more or less is $500 if you want the same equivalent setup as the vive or or oculus. The one thing that irks me is that the announced $399 price is only fractionally true. And the ps camera didnt actually sell a ton so the majority of ps4 players (like myself) will have to end up ordering the bundle due to this fact (hence why only now have the cameras started flying off the shelves and not before). I was expecting to pay around $500 for it anyway so it's not a big deal to me. It just seemed misleading. Yes it's still cheaper than the competition, but let's remember too it's also spec'd lower.

I am more than excited for psvr and I think it will be the most successful. I also think it won't be as high end of an experience as a loaded up PC running a vive or oculus because of the lower spec and how powerful you can make a PC in comparison with more powerful hmd's to boot. What it has going for it is a huge existing install base and it is still the cheapest option. Then again - PC guys are used to spending more to get more. No. I'm not a PC gamer, just looking at things objectively.

1 per customer according to Amazon. Should help gamers get their headsets, rather than scalpers being able to preorder 50 units to sell for $1000 on ebay. They will get around it still. But this helps.

What the heck I have all the accessories I just need the headset! Well luckily amazon doesn't make you pay until it ships so I'll just have to pre order this one and wait to see if they release a standalone one later.

Well I have a camera and 2 moves already, so THIS blows. I was excited to pre-order, but now I'm kinda pissed. Why didn't they do it the other way around? With the bundle first, then the stand alone version? I bet they'll have a lot of canceled pre-orders of the base version now. Stupid.

$499 dollars should be around £344, which is unlikely to be the UK RRP, if they do the whole bundle for £400 or under I'll be very happy.

I definitely want psvr, but not sure if i'll get it day one. I work in retail so i get a discount which will bring my price to $365 for the HMD alone. That makes me more tempted to jump in day one. I hope they have demo stations set up in stores soon, can't wait!

Very reasonable price. Especially if you don't have any of these things already. No game to my knowledge requires to use the PS Move controller. They're optional. The only game that I played that used them was Job Simulator. Battlezone, and RIGs used the DS4.

Secondly the PS Move controllers are from last generation.

Still $399 for me and I'm just waiting for the headset itself pre-orders to become available.

$499 for that bundle is reasonable. I'll be spending approx. $460 between the $399 headset and RIGS. Plus tax.

Do the PSVR require a PS camera only for games that utilizes VR? Can you only buy the headset and still play regular PS4 games (non-vr games)?

Was in GS earlier and i asked about pre orders they told me the following.

-pre open March 22
-Bundle comes with all the necessity stuff
-They will have promotions where you can trade in stuff foe 20% towarda the purchase of rhe headset.Plus Pro members will get an extra 10% on top of the 20% towards the purchase.

it will cost close to 800 dollars thats including taxes, so i think i will play the waiting game this time in my life.

I have zero interest in VR but I guess this solves the issue some people were complaining about previously.
