This game is a shoe in for VR support but I dont think they'll announce it because they dont want everyone holding off til October. Late September or early October is when they'll announce a VR patch to really hype the PSVR launch up.

according to people that went to the preview event it is still running like crap on ps4 so psVR may not be possible . better for this small team to concentrate in getting the best performance on ps4 first .

@KwietStorm last weeks giantbomb cast and others in the media , the pc version was running well

@Muzikguy some time left to clean it up for ps4 but my point was its a small team so that is probably the priority over vr at this point. we'll see if they can get a flatout vr mode or just an vr experience .

People have spoken up about issues the ps4 version was having, october of last year. not that it's running like crap. if it was running like crap it wouldn't have a release date. they would want it at a somewhat playable state before considering a release date

Well thats disconcerting. Sony needs to step in use some of the Ice Magic on the game and get it up to scratch. Its not that far till launch. I would take a visual hit to have it on VR as well.

Muzikguy3711d ago

Nowhere have I seen anyone say this game runs like crap on the PS4. There's 4 months left and this is a major game for Sony. It's not like RiMe that's now pretty much dead.

DigitalRaptor3711d ago (Edited 3711d ago )

It has some technical issues but it doesn't run like crap. You are thinking of Ark: Survival Evolved there. Those issues in NMS need to be ironed out, so I would have them prioritise that. If it doesn't happen as a native VR experience, I will use the Cinematic mode to play it, but I wouldn't say it's impossible.
