I thought it was fantastic, the physics in it were excellent. the way you pick up a stormtrooper with the force and then he grabs on to things to try and stop himself - great stuff.

I thought the demo was excellent. Ragdoll physics on the stormtroopers is a plus when you throw them around. I played the game on medium difficulty and found it way too easy. Maybe a slightly higher difficulty is just right.

One thing I didn't like is that when you block standing still it does the light saber deflection animation (swing wildy). You can't move at all (or can you?) That bothered me as I felt restricted.

Its a shame when great games get ruined by bad cameras!

Overall, it was fun... its basically "Destroy All Humans" in Star Wars Drag!

Demo sucked from what i was expecting from the hype...

well i have posted twice about this, but another thing i noticed that i did't like.

everything just explodes to fast. if you pick up a droid and throw it, ya it should explode... if you pick it up and put it back down gentley, it still explodes.

you want somethings to explode... and somethigns to act like a rock. you just keep picking them up and throwing them..

and ya, dissapointed that cutting the droids in half was scripted... i thought with all the tech they are using, all this stuff was always ment to happen differently ? check out some of the early demos of the tech.

i think there is prob some stuff they have had to cutout for whatever reason.

still, i think i will buy it.

Unfortunately this game moved from purchase to rent with the demo. The graphics were decent, but nothing that screams next gen. The physics, while cool for the objects are hampered by horrid targeting. The giant square reticle is stupid looking and removes you from the game. The light saber marks on the wall are soooo last gen (raven did it better). As others have mentioned, the droid and object cutting are nothing but scripted events. I would have hoped to have seen a dynamic cutting system that would allow for infinite replayability...alas no such luck.

All in all a very mediocre game, similar to alot of the recent efforts from Lucas lately (Indiana Jones, Clone Wars etc).

See now I thought the graphics were great. I get a little confused by all this 'they were so last gen' or 'they dont scream next gen' not sure what people want. IMO they are a massive leap forward from what i used to experience on my ps2, so to me, yes they scream 'next gen' or, as it should be known 'this gen'. combining the physics, the graphics, the amount of enemies on screen, everything going on in the background (ti fighters), to me, a great experience. I sound like an avid star wars fan but i'm not, honest!

when you kill a storm trooper they disappear in less then 3 seconds.

One of the most annoying things that developers do, is make the bodies of enemies "dissolve" into thin air. Either they ran out of dying animations or they think that enemy bodies are cluttering up their maps.

About the demo, I thought it was rather impressive, I didn't like the menu, the music besides the good old Star Wars theme was immediately forgettable. physics were neat, but do they think they can create one huge factory, with nothing in it except a thousand crates can truly satisfy the everyday A.D.D gamer?

I thought the enemy AI, (despite stormtroopers "grabbing onto things" which is hinted more at the physics then at the AI) was rather poop. why do they stand there and shoot.

I mean, from their perspective, a guy with what seems like nothing to lose runs in with a light saber in their hand, after destroying half the entire room with his powers in a matter of seconds, and I being a sad enemy, think I can stop him with a little "tehoo-tehoo" of my little gun (which is nice product placement for another loud annoying commercial on Nickelodeon for "Unleash your own force! or fight back with a plastic Super Soaker! It actually MAKES the sound from the game! It lights up! only at TOYS'R'US!"

but its no GOW in gameplay and graphics but the story might be interesting. its a rental

This is what a demo should be, I only have a few complaints which I hope has already been adressed in the full retail game. First Targeting is not as easy as it should be especially when there are a lot of crates around, two why do the bodies and destroyed objects disapear its not like the consoles can't handle it. Third why does it take more than one swing to kill anything and it doesn't even cut them in half.

Some of the cooler things is when the storm troopers try to grab other guys and people. One of them actually grabbed the edge of a platform and he was really holding on it took a little time but I finally just flung him into the sky. Another cool thing is just grabing them and slamming repeatedly into a walls and ceilings, but it doesn't always give you the force you like behind it, something that will probably be fixed.

They deffinately make you feel powerful as you should because you're a freakin jedi and they are nothing compared to your power, so to see some of the other enemies and fighting other jedi is going to be interesting.

The demo was nothing more than a show of the force powers the true difficulty will be when your not fighting plain old storm troopers.

And one more thing, I like the premise of vader having a secret apprentice doing his dirty work its really compeling being like a black ops jedi knight.

The 360 version had slowdown for me but the PS3 version didn't.

My main complaint was that it is a bit slow turning the camera when you are manipulating objects with the force grab. So, it's easy to get shot a bunch as you're trying to grab something and throw it at guys. I think the whole grab system is really good, but could be a bit faster overall.

I was completely underwhelmed. Didn't like the bodies disappearing, the stay in the air while swinging the light saber, the repetitive nature of the design. The cheap "knocked off the platform" deaths and most importantly, why the hell does a Jedi have to stand still when blocking?

Lame. I'll snag the inevitable used copy and return it in 7 days.

Actually, I already beat this demo yesterday on 360. poor droids, always Waiting B3yond, even for free demos.

And too bad this game has sh1t for cutscene animations and lip syncing, if you can even call it that. Sad. When will n00b devs learn: If you don't have mo-cap, you have nothing--especially when you hire sh1t animators. Poor devs, they will learn the hard way when their game flops like Too FLOPman which also has sh1t for animations (and voice acting), which I said would flop over a year ago.

Damn, I rule.

why is this on N4G! a freaking demo walkthrough? lame. really lame.

I liked the demo. It has some issues that others have already stated. I never did and still don't expect this to be GOTY material, but I think it would be unfair for me (or anyone else) to judge how the entire game will be based on a demo that can be completed in six minutes if you just run straight through it. It took me much longer to get through than in this video because I spent time getting used to the different force moves/controls, explored all the areas, and tried to kill every enemy.

I'll buy the game cause first of all, i'm a star wars geek and secondly, it just looks like mindless force and lightsaber slashing fun. And it might actually have a decent story tied in.

So, that's my opinion.

Not so hot.
