Hitman: Blood Money is my favourite videogame of all time. I aced every mission on Silent Assassin multiple times. When Absolution was announced, the thought of a next-gen sequel to my beloved Blood Money with modern graphics and dynamic AI had me salivating.

Stealth action games from the Hitman series are no longer available for purchase on Russian Steam. When going to the game pages, the message “This product is not available in your region” appears. The changes were noticed to us by one of our users along with a screenshot.

The month of October is going to be filled with excitement as the Hitman franchise is commemorating its 25 years of being in the business.
It’s the 25th anniversary this year?
I’d have assumed it would have gotten something like a remastered trilogy of the original games or a remake of the first game. Something for a 25th celebration.
Super lacklustre

Cultured Vultures: With the World of Assassination Trilogy wrapped up, here's our thoughts on the best and the worst in the series.
Agreed.
Lots of single player games have had some sort of online integration with the campaign (eg SSX, Burnout, AssassinsCreed4, MassEffect3, inFamous2, Tomb Raider, Bloodborne, MGSV), but they don't DRM your save files to a server, breaking your game, resetting your progress or take away gameplay elements (weapons, skins) without that tether!! This is a throwback to Elder Scrolls Oblivion's dlc problems.
The online Leaderboards and Contract menus in Hitman are subpar anyways, you can't even search/sort/filter, nevermind the load lag. Absolution had a better contracts interface and that didn't require an always-online to do challenges and level up in story mode, so what happened here?
That said, the gameplay and presentation itself is solid. I love it. It's everything else around it, the shell, that's cracked. And the first patch made it worse, even offline with the newbie hud clutter.
