FGE - I recall refreshing Bioware’s YouTube channel over and over, on the day of a new trailer release. I recall replaying Mass Effect 2 for the 12th or so time while waiting for the 3rd game to launch. And I recall the day I finally got my hands on the beautiful Collector’s Edition of Mass Effect 3 – for me, in the UK, that day was four years ago today.
Having seen every slice of pre-release material, I was prepared for Mass Effect 3 to be emotional. To be the darkest game in the trilogy. And yet, it was impossible to guess the lasting impact it would have on me, through its two main themes: tragedy and hope.

One of the best things about the Mas Effect series is the companions you meet along the way. So here is a tier list of all the companions from Mass Effect!
To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.

It's been 4 years? Wow.
How to get the best ending:
1. Run to the portar
2. Kill Marauder shield
3. Kill the illusive man
4. After Anderson dies, turn off your console and imagine the rest
Optional. If you didn't do step 4, choose one of the 3 endings and turn off your console. Imagine the rest
I guess I'm part of the minority that thought the ending wasn't that bad. I enjoyed it, actually.
Actually... I enjoyed the original ending much more. The extended ending (the one Bioware patched in the game later) was too cheap to my liking. I think they should've stuck to their guns and kept the ending as it was originally.
No wonder he liked ME3, he was 13 when he played it haha. I find it comical how he seems to have these great memories of the citadel in that game. For me it was horrible, just a few tiny areas with a bunch of motionless NPC. Even the examples he gave of the ambient conversations, if you walked up to those NPC they never even moved while the sound was playing. Real triple A development right there.
Mass Effect 2 was a better game. More memorable moments. Best thing about Mass Effect 3 was the House party DLC AND Ashley coming back. I wish all the crew from Mass effect 2 were available. Kasumi the DLC character should have been apart of the squad and a romantic interest. Also Day 1 DLC with Javeek was dumb should have been in the game from the jump
