The March 3 Nintendo Direct revealed a whole slew of new information about Bravely Second.
RPG fans got a nice surprise at the 2019 Game Awards: A reveal for Bravely Default 2, coming from Square Enix to the Nintendo Switch in 2020. The elation is laced with some confusion, as people are asking "Wait… don't we already have Bravely Default 2 on the 3DS?"
Well, yes. Also no. Indeed, there are already two Bravely Default games—three if you count an earlier edition of the first game that came out in Japan—but the Switch game revealed at The Game Awards is seemingly the first true sequel. Not only does it bear a telltale "2," but the trailer shows off an entirely new cast.

With the 3DS in the rearview mirror, I can’t help but think about 3DS titles that would play and look (with some proper resolution tinkering) incredibly well on the Nintendo Switch. " Bravely Second is the sequel to the 2013 3DS JRPG Bravely Default. Despite enjoying the first game’s demo, I never made the jump to actually purchasing the game. But when Bravely Second came out, naturally an evolution and improvement upon the first one’s game mechanics, I just had to get my hands on it. "
eh? you didnt play the first? The titles are a shoutout for help and the camera shows your ugly double chin cause you're leaning back calling you a god... l never felt less goldy than that moment..

Can't wait to hear more about Octopath Traveler and whenever they announce Bravely Third for Switch
