i think theres too many games coming out on the 360 as it is, let alone all the great games coming out on the ps3 aswel...i used to love the original socom online back on my ps2.it was the first game that really got me into online gaming...

LBP and Fallout 3 are the only games i'm buying that month maybe socom if its cheap the rest i'm renting on gamefly...

i go the entire summer playing old games and then October rolls around and i got like 12 games i want. i think developers would make tons of money if they went for an early summer release date.

i guess fable 2 wont be tripple AAA since the first one wasn't and i guess that means it will be no good right......

as for little big planet, that game will most likely be 1 of the highest rated games of all time.
bioshock will be excellent even though its old.
socom, will definetely sell great and sell more ps3's then even mgs4(at least in america)
but sometimes i think that reviewers are going to be expecting more since its a higher standard and as stated by the developers, there are trying to keep it traditional(honest opinion here)

it'll be a good month but not the best. i just cant wait for october because this site will get crazy once little big planet and fable 2 come out the same day and we see who gets the higher ratings.

same for november. it'll be resistance 2 vs gears 2 and home vs MS avatars(obvious winner being home but still....)
and ps3 still has motorstorm 2 and tekken 6 so october and november will be some epic months to remember....

Isn't Bioshock for the PS3 coming out in November? On Gamestop's website Bioshock is listed for November and I think it's already been confirmed for November too.

Anyways, I'm definantly picking up LittleBigPlanet, FarCry 2, and Dead Space in October. My wallet is definantly going to take a hit if I decide to get the Fallout 3 Survival Edition from Amazon for $129.99... but if I don't get the Survival Edition I'm definantly getting the Collectors Edition for Fallout 3.

There's nothing else coming out until October that I even really want. This Fall is going to be a busy season for both 360 and PS3 gamers alike.... and then just 3 months after Resistance 2, it's Killzone 2 baby! Can't wait.

Little Big Planet, Far Cry 2, Saints Row 2, Fable 2 are the games I'm getting in October. That's not all the ones I want coming out in October, but it's what I'll have to limit myself to. Plus, the only way I'll afford these is by either selling myself on the streets or some serious ebaying.

Thats my day 1- and since I think Saints Row 2 comes out the same day so that will also be picked up- I've waited this long for Bioshock I can't imagine playing it instead of these two games, but I will get it later. That really only leaves me with LBP- and it isn't a day 1 for me...yet.

thank god i have gamefly cause the only one i'm actually going to buy that day is LBP...

everything else is getting the gamefly rental treatment...

i know bioshock was/is huge but i played the demo on the ps3 last year when i had my 360, loved the artwork etc but i was never a fan of the system shock series/gameplay... so i wont be bummed if i dont get to play it on day one...

i'm really annoyed that the gaming industry persists in maintaining the stereotype that gaming is for kids, and gamers are eagerly awaiting the holiday season so mommy and daddy can buy them some Fablez TWO.

i'm 29 years old, and if Fallout 3 was available RIGHT NOW, or a month ago, i would have bought it then and there. if it was available in January, February, and March of this year, i would have bought it then and there.

unfortunately, many a game i'm excited about with be relegated to "i'll buy them when i can (read; never, or a good year or two down the line)," because other games have me more excited, and i have to make some hard decisions due to budget concerns.

considering the amount of "M-Rated" games being released this holiday, i don't see why the industry persists in treating gaming like a "kids sport" still. they seem a bit confused, honestly.

i know sales are generally higher during the holiday seasons, but let the adults get their games when they can afford them, and let the kids get their games on Christmas day. hell, i hardly know any friends and family that would drop $60 on me for a Christmas gift, so i buy the games myself. by clumping them all in a group release like they do, somethings got to give, and it's usually my wallet, and i spend my money on more important things like food and shelter, and the occasional must have game.

Socom LBP and Fable won't move consoles..easy as that ..i can't find a way of buying a ps3 or 360 for any of those games..but Guitar Hero and Rockband ..those games.do move piles of consoles...

I got a 50 dollar gift card from Best Buy for my birthday back in July, so I am thinking of the perfect choice on what additional game or 2 to get between October or November. I already preordered Mirrors Edge and Resistance, but what other games man what a hard choice LOL!!! I am thinking of Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, Little Big Planet, or Left 4 Dead Ohh and I can't forget Gears of War 2 shoot!!! Legendary the game will be the first to come out in october, but I fear it might be overshadowed if it is not a great game.

I'll be getting fallout 3 and dead space, after watching those animated comics for dead space, now I really can't wait for the game Awesome!

Because where am I gonna find time to play all these games, let alone buy them first?

I was just complaining about this issue a few hours ago to a friend, it's not just about the money it's about time too, I mean games like LBP, Guitar Hero 4, Fable 2 and Fallout will need more than 50 hours (at least) each, now how am I going to do that when November has Resistance 2 and Gears 2.

besides games I have a life and a demanding job.

Man my situation is kind of good and bad, well my birthday is the 28th of september so am going to ask my wife to get me two or three games dont know which, but her birthday is the 23rd of october so I have to splurge cash on her also and am on a tight buget. Well LBP,Motorstorm,BIOSHOCK,STARWA RS FORCE UL,Dead space,SOCOM,RFOM2,TOMBRAIDER are all in my hot list but dont know which 3 to pick any advice.

why people are so hyped up on LBP. i mean, ive seen, heard, read things about the game, but i didn't think the hype would be that astounding for it! wow, i thought for the hype that it would be all over magazine covers and whatnot. maybe next month it will be?

Me 2,I have downloaded in HD almost every video and red every preview of the game LBP and I still have little interest on it.For me it is not a game but it is a program to make then like those mod programs useded to make maps for FPS kind games.

I bet it should be fun to many ppl to make "games" but it seems like a Wii Fit that after a few days we will not use it anymore.
