The Division succeeds in what Destiny failed to accomplish.

It has been ten years of the franchise and a celebration is planned.

It's been almost 10 years since we first stepped foot in Ubisoft's extraction shooter, The Division and it looks like the developer will celebrate by giving fans a chance to replay the experience in "definitive edition" form.

from paulsemel.com: In this exclusive Q&A, the author of the new technothriller based on "Tom Clancy's: The Division" discusses how it ties to the games while also bringing its own story to a close.
I don't know, when the game is release than I'll compare the two. Good argument but still unsure.
I'll be upset if this game doesn't have a raid-ish event.I know the rumor, I just hope its true.
The game will likely provide me with enough entertainment until Dark Souls 3 and Uncharted 4.
Destiny felt fresh and exciting. The first time i entered the Vault of Glass made my jaw drop and coop has never been this fun in the first few months.
So in my opinion The Division won't achieve any of that - the realistic setting is just too stale. The guns and the actual gunplay are lackluster compared to the D. The Dark Zone will get boring after a few weeks and is nothing compared to end game content like the strikes and raids in Destiny.
I quit Destiny a few months ago but i can't see The Divison having as much impact as Destiny had in it's first year.
I reckon destiny will release there so called big dlc a day or 2 before the division will get released to try keep its players
As long as it keeps me going until quantum break and uncharted releases I'm cool, i played nothing but destiny for almost a year but i doubt this will grab me like that.
