Hopefully we'll get it soon because I don't want to see it months after the last DLC pack when you've done anything and sickened yourself to death of the game

For Elder Scrolls VI this should be done at launch

Well considering the amount of mods we have now, along with the even bigger more complex mods that surface after the creation kit, you'll have plenty enough reasons to return to the game even if your sick of it.

If you're a console only player and never experienced mods in Bethesda's games, you don't really understand just how much it can make it feel like a completely new game with an entirely new experience.

Also, considering this is the first time consoles players will get mods, it's probably gonna be a bit rough and take longer at first. If their future titles support mods, it will be much quicker and less buggy. Just like when a new console comes out and over time devs make bigger and better games faster.

"Also, considering this is the first time consoles players will get mods"

Incorrect. Unreal Tournament 3 got them on the PS3.

@LivingLegacy

True, but considering that was a competitive FPS, skins and maps aren't really mods (technically they are). I'm more talking about mods that add new features, gameplay mechanics, UI elements, overhauls etc. The mods done for Skyrim are on a completely different level than the mods made for UT3.

"Fallout 4 PC Mod Support Coming this April"

^Interesting news

"PS4 will get it last"

^Old information recycled to add fuel to the flame wars and generate clicks.

At least this twinfinite article only had one page instead of 10 so that's something.

"^Old information recycled to add fuel to the flame wars and generate clicks"

All they did was quote what Todd told Gameinformer.

He already announced that PS4 would get it last back at Fallout 4's reveal, it's not new info.

They need to look at Morrowind and see what the progression should have been from there instead of the regression we got with the next 2 games. They weren’t horrible games but they could have been so much more.

Fallout 4 just felt too streamlined and accessible to me, the perk system was not as fun as it was in Fallout 3, not saying Fallout 3 didn't have issues but 4 just felt like a complete step back.

So the part where you just sold the same games for the last 10 years while you focused on 76 and merch, was not a reset from the "creative" aspect eh? How very Todd of you.

I bought Fallout 4 (I loved Fallout 3) at launch and I couldn't bring myself to finish it or even get close to finishing it. It was soooo damned boring and bland. I played on a very hard difficulty and I had hundreds of stimpaks. One of the only games I've played for a while and not ended up finishing it. I hated it. Just flat out hated it.
