IGN:
Far Cry Primal succeeds in transporting the Far Cry formula back in time and comes to the table with a quiver of neat ideas and a dangerous and fascinating open world. The visceral and varied combat is fun, the beast-based gameplay is a winner, and the lure of camp-claiming, gear-crafting, beast hunting, and resource gathering remains irresistible. It’s weakened, however, by a disappointing lack of investment in its story, some often forgettable quests, and its vanilla villains, which unfortunately combine to make Primal feel like a step back from the memorable moments of Far Cry 3 and 4.

Far Cry Primal was a bigger switch for the series, and can provide a good template for a possible New Dawn sequel.

Rayan from NoobFeed writes - Sony's latest PlayStation Spring Sale is definitely worth looking for those who have been wishlisting these games after playing on PC and wanted to try them on a different platform.
These are ok and all, but the real jackpot is the AC Antiquity Pack - AC Origins + Odyssey for under $25.00. Now that's a deal.

PP: Sony has added a whole bunch of new games to its ongoing sales, and this week’s new additions are actually really good.
Sony has updated its continuing sales with a plethora of new titles, and the games added this week are top-notch. The unpredictable truck's movement adds an extra layer of fun and energy to the game, and each level adds a fresh dose of stress and adrenaline. https://clusterrush.io
Wow, I expected a 9/10 from them... But then a lot sites are giving it score between 7/10 and 9/10
Was to be expected, imho it's more a mod with a new storyline then a new game.
This game had so much potential but looks to be a watered down casual joke. The moment I saw you can tame sabre tooth tigers, and use owls as b-52 bombers, I knew who this game was marketed for; the casuals. This game just doesnt feel like you vs nature. Instead, it feels like every other Fary Cry game ever. Way too easy, and NO survival suspense WHATSOEVER. I wish a game like this had Bloodborne type difficulty to make it feel like more realistic and suspensful. It should have had 4 seasons, more terrain diversities, you should be able to get sick and forced to look for herbs, honey, etc. Supplies should be very hard and scarce to come by, in winter time you should have to keep warm, etc. Instead we get this childish version thats far too easy and simplistic. No thanks, I'll pass.

Hey everybody this guy didn't expect a Far Cry game to feel like a Far Cry game.....lol If you wanna play a more brutal survival game go play Rust or Don't Starve. Far Cry has always been geared at everyone, just like COD. There's nothing wrong with that either. They would be alienating their core audience if they made it as hard as Bloodborne. And while I loved Bloodborne you can't just copy and paste it's difficulty into Far Cry without pissing off a bunch of players. Difficulty doesn't make a game better unless it is built from the ground up around that concept. Far Cry is about hunting cool animals(and people)with cool weapons not difficulty.
I am glad the game is getting a lot of positives reviews.
