It's one random rpg in a sea of many.

Sheltered gamers who lack the knowledge of what else is out there make a bigger deal about this game than it deserved.

Is it a bad game ? Not at all, but it's nowhere near the level of awesome some people make it out to be.

Way to many exaggerators in the U.S. right now who blindly just praise anything even remotely just ok.

People can't just accept that something is good and be fine with it, they need to make EVERYTHING they do seem like the best thing that every existed.

Most annoying people ever. It's not just with video games either....it applies elsewhere.

Just dirty elitism.

Pretty sure they call them 'RPG's ;~)

Dragon Age Origins

I have yet to play Planescape Torment but I know that you don't have to kill or engage in combat with the vast majority of its enemies.

I know that Dragon Age Origins and Witcher 1 & 2 have given you options to kill or not kill a boss and given you reasons why. Same for Mass Effect. These are just recent examples.

Even Dark Souls doesn't require you to fight every boss.
