Hardcore Gamer: The obvious reality about the game industry is that a massive number of games will manage to disappoint or underwhelm the majority for a multitude of reasons. The most likely situation is that, be it critically or commercially, these titles wind up leaving us scratching our heads.
It's finally over
Man, what a let down this was. I don’t even want to admit what I added to the crowd fund… let’s just say I learned a valuable lesson.
Mighty No. 9 and Mega Man 11 are two games that tried to fill a very big gaming hole, and the story behind it all is even more interesting. So which game wore the Mega Man dress better? Jason Capp is here with some retrospective thoughts upon his 2022 playthroughs.
Only tried the demos for both and mighty 9 looked atrocious. Megaman 11 was fun and polished. Never played both full versions but will see it they are on PS Extra when i get home.
Mostly get my megaman fix playing the azure gunvolt games and spin offs. And Maverick Hunter X on my Vita.
Just tried Mighty No 9 again on PSExtra...graphics are atrocious and taking down enemies by dashing into them feels so hollow.
Ed writes: This past weekend, Battleborn was finally shut down by Gearbox and 2K. Let's look back at a game that deserved a lot better.
It at least deserved them moving it to a solo-able option post server shut-down, IMHO.
I REALLY enjoyed playing Battleborn back in October, but i fear that the game will be DOA.
There's not a lot of hype for it, and when people do talk about it it's usually negative or they always bring up an Overwatch comparison.
Such a shame, none of my friends are interested either :(

Agreed with Battleborn, but I think Mighty No 9 ..MIGHT be a success already because basically enough copies were sold already through the Kickstarter funding to make the game + some earnings. Each additional sale= more money= success.
And if Starfox Zero might become a NX launch game as some people are suspecting, it will be one of a few choices at the start...= many people will buy it.
Starfox will be fine,1st party games do very well on Wii U.
MN9 will sell but it sucks as I have the demo and it's dull game.
BB has a generic name and a dull looking game.
