It’s the age old question: Is PC Actually Better Than Console?

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

All available May 5.
I think the only game here for me is Nine Sols. Was always interested in that game.
Good month for me, I wanted that particular footy game and thought it might be due. Anyway who cares, shame about the site I'll miss the comment sections. All the best everyone.
Is PC Actually Better Than Console?
The PC can emulate every system and almost every game sooner or later thanks to very dedicated gamer s/developers.
It has usually the better graphics, mods and more options for the games.
Today you can connect a small PC to the TV and its not even as loud as the XB1 or the PS4. It is supporting all kinds of game pads including console controllers.
And still, I have a PS4 at home because of the exclusive games and because my PC is not totally up to date and can't play the latest games.
In the long run, a PC is always better I believe.
It's always been a give and take between the two and ultimately what's best is up to the consumer. Yes that sounds like a cop out answer but it's the truth. Purely performance wise pc CAN be better than consoles but not every pc is and as long as consoles continue to deliver top notch exclusive games then I'll always buy consoles even though I have a rig that destroys them. Convenience, efficiency and exclusives is where consoles win. Pc wins in upgradability, cheaper game prices, no paying for mp and best band for buck due to it having other functions than gaming. I love both pc and console gaming. For me, one is only better than the other depending on my mood. Right now I've got the division installed on ps4 and pc but after a days work I'm not in the mood to sit at my desk. Therefore I'm playing on ps4 which obviously won't be as good as my pc does it. Later on I'll play on pc with better performance and graphics.
Yes, no debate.
It loses on the ease of use part though. Sometimes it can be a pain.
Define "Better".
For Plug and Play - No, definitely not.
For experiencing the best version possible - probably.
So, I'm feeling pretty proud of N4G for not turning this into a complete flame war and bringing in some valid points. Way to go!
